Still there was only one post with a flabbergasted emoticron, and you quoted it in a reply. It contained a line about not being able to imagine not being able to speak directly, to one's needs. I thought I narrowed it down, but I guess I was wrong.
Still, when someone says they can't imagine something, it is time to get the imagination node rebuilt. Especialy when it come to females being shy about their sexuality.
Note, these same shy females can't relate to the ease which the bolder ones ask for their desires' fulfillment. And are perhaps a bit envious.

Sorry, I didn't mean to come across that way, honestly. I guess I just can't picture getting involved with someone I wasn't comfortable enough being able to talk about those sorts of things with. I still don't quite get how people have relationships without being able to be honest and open with one another, and I think if you're going to be forward enough to be sleeping with someone, you should probably be able to talk about sleeping with that person too. *shrugs*

I didn't mean for it to sound superior, though. I'm sorry if it did (or still does) sound that way; I honestly didn't mean anything by it. I myself am extremely shy with the men that I'm seriously interested in (I flirt with the ones that I like all the time, but the one that I fall for, I get insanely nervous with), but even considering that, once it gets to the point where we are sleeping together, there has to be free and open communication, otherwise I think we're sunk. Usually we're very open and honest before that point, but it's a personal rule that I won't sleep with a guy unless I feel like I can tell him anything, including whether I like it up the ass or whatever.

Anyway, sorry for coming off like a bitch. I hope I made things better and not worse with this post (I only just work up from taking a nap--was home sick today--so I might not be entirely coherent).

Haha, I saw that clip. It's called "How to get your girlfriend to have anal sex" and it actually gave three reasons for guys liking anal sex:

2) It's warm

It's easy to talk about sleeping with somebody once you've already slept with that person ... as long as you stay on familiar ground. That doesn't mean you can easily broach the idea of taboo fantasies, fetishes, etc.

Trust me, theorizing about free and open sexual communication is different from actually doing it. Even if you feel like you're being very frank and open, there may be certain things you don't say because you're afraid your partner won't react to them very well. It's those things which cause all of the problems.

The second part is far, far more important than the first. Sex therapists report an endless list of marital problems caused by sexual non-communication in heavily religious America. While fear of open sexual communication is obviously not a problem for me (or you), the fact remains that it's a very serious problem for millions of couples out there.

It was a study done by Barna Research (ironically enough, a Christian research group which was trying to prove the opposite). It's referenced somewhere on my anti-creationism site.
