well, I'm a film director so i guess i can kinda have a say here. One piece of advice--if you love acting, dont get into film. Its just so cold and disjointed. Theater is a much more natural and organic acting environment. I cant imagine how hard it must be for actors to just turn their talent on and off as the camera rolls. Especially when you have a insistant control-freak director like myself demanding Oscar-calibre performances for each shot   .I guess thats one of the virtues of being a professional actor.

Most of the theatre kids at my school are talentless exaggerated attention whores. They tend to create personal social drama to muck up life in general. I love so many of those slacker theatre girls, but they're a mess.

Maybe I'm biased though. My ex was the centre of their social lunacy.

I did lights for DIVINERS. The rest of the light crew was either kicked off or sent to other spots in the company leaving me, the most inexpeirenced member of the crew, to do it. I am in my second year of theatre and am a junior. What scene was it in 'lend me a tenor' that you had to tone down.

Also I am a true Techie
