Not unless I can find some half-nakie men with a halloween backdrop.anarchistbunny wrote:For those of you out there that recognize the upcoming halloween holiday(damn brits), are you going to change your avatar in honor of the occasion, much like the christmas avs of last year?
As you can see I already have my BM in halloween colors, but I expect it to change after a while.
Really? Isn't Guy Fawkes Day around the time of Halloween? Isn't that they time when you guys make effigies of him and burn them?InnerBrat wrote:Methinks you're confusing your boozeups.Mark S wrote:The Brits can have their avatar's burning in effigy.
Mine's already kind of Halloweeny as it is.
But they're a week apart! and completely separate boozeup excuses!Mark S wrote:Really? Isn't Guy Fawkes Day around the time of Halloween? Isn't that they time when you guys make effigies of him and burn them?
I didn't think Halloween was even observed as a boozeup in England. If that's the case, you're one boozeup on us! I'm going to have to spearhead the dummy burning movement here. If only for the sake of getting drunk around a bonfire.InnerBrat wrote:But they're a week apart! and completely separate boozeup excuses!Mark S wrote:Really? one - you dress up like a fool and get very very drunk and party like the living dead.
two - you dress up a dummy like a fool and get very drunk and watch a sober person do pretty things with fire.
Dear god, it's a Tonberry! Kill it kill it kill it!XaLEv wrote:Hmmm... What would make a good halloween avatar?

I'm supposing the Japanese way of spelling.Gil Hamilton wrote:Wha?Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Tonberi...
Looks like it, but it's Tonberry. All my Final Fantasy games are in agreement on the issue.Hamel wrote:My guess: Japanese spelling
While they ARE irresistable to women, I know them better. They are these psycho little monsters who crave to creep up slowly... slowly... slowly... slowly... STAB CITY! Especially that bastard Don Tonberry in FFX. I still can't kill that little shit.Ghost Rider wrote:I'm supposing the Japanese way of spelling.
And beside why get scared of the Tonberry....slow ass turtle, but apparently cute according to many a woman.
Only Master did that...the problem lies in that their speed is lthe level of my turtle(heck in FFTA they have a near killing ability...too bad their speed and their range suck donkey balls)Spanky The Dolphin wrote: Ghost, the reason to fear Tonberi is that if you don't kill him fast enough (he has tons of HP and it takes forever to kill him), he'll walk up to you and stab you with his little knife, killing you instantly.
At least that's how Master Tonberi worked in FFVII.
They do it in FFIX, too. Startled the fuck outta me the first time one stabbed Steiner and killed him.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Tonberi is the original Japanese spelling, which they happened to have preserved in FFVII.

I think Sumomo's cuteSpanky The Dolphin wrote:Just thought I'd let people know that Sumomo (the uber-cute mini Persocom from Chobits) here isn't my Halloween avatar. Just something I made a few minutes ago and am testing it out. I might even switch back to "Matrix Asuka - natural light version" later today...
I'm positive my copy of FFVII says Tonberry. It doesn't matter to me if it's spelled Tonberi or Peggy Sue in katakana, in English, which you and I speak and what all the copies of my Final Fantasy games (and I'm assuming yours too) are in, it's Tonberry (which Tonberi is likely the engrish of).Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Tonberi is the original Japanese spelling, which they happened to have preserved in FFVII.
