The Robots in The Matrix vs.....

Post by RayCav of ASVS »

Whatever forces the Federation can throw at them

Whatever forces any AQ power can throw at them

Whatever forces the Dominion can throw at them

The entire Borg Collective

Any modern day force

Whatever forces a single Imperial Star Destroyer can provide

Mission Goals:

Must liberate the humans with minimal collateral damage

Borg must assimilate everything

Robots must repel invaders

Federation cannot even beam troops down, due to adverse atmospheric conditions (read: storms).

Ditto.
The entire Borg Collective
If the nanoprobes can assimilate, the Borg can win.
Any modern day force
The Robots conquered most of the Earth, remember?
Whatever forces a single Imperial Star Destroyer can provide
Imps bombard the shit out of the planet with Ion cannons, zapping everything in reach and liberating most of the world. They then recruit anyone they can and take out the Robots strongholds which may have survived.

I think he means vs any force an ISD can deploy, not the SD itself. A BDZ operation makes things too easy. TIEs and heavier walkers could probably resist the machineguns from the machines, and the TIEs can probably outrun and outmanuever them, too. I'd go with the Imps.

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

I refer you to an Onion classic. The picture of the Trekkie is golden.
