When you live in a society where "intellectual" is regarded as an insult, that's what you get.

I was once chastised by certain members of my family for trying to sound intellectual during religion debates

Cmon people, I'm not that smart

*shrug*
> hi evry 1, hu watches big brother? i want federico 2
> win!! and sissy 2 go out nxt

I'm out of practice, so bear with me. Let's begin:

"hi" is the beginning of a sentence, and is therefore capitalized.

"evry" is not a word. Replace with "every".

Single-digit numerals are spelled out in most instances. In this case, "one".

Combine those two to get the word "everyone".

"hu" is not a word. Replace with "who".

"big brother" is, in this case, a proper noun. Therefore, it is capitalized.

"i" by itself is always capitalized.

"federico" is a name, and should be capitalized.

Incorrect usage of the numeral 2. Replace with "to".

Only one exclamation mark is needed.

Starting a sentence with "and" is not technically correct, however it is in common usage. It should be capitalized, though.

"sissy" is a name. Capitalize.

"2". See previous, replace with "to".

"nxt" is not a word. Replace with "next".

The end of the sentence should be punctuated with a period.

So, you get the final product:

"Hi everyone, who watches Big Brother? I want Federico to win! And Sissy to go out next."

I had the misfortune of reading 2 pages of that...

And we wonder why only 1/10 of 1% of the population has an IQ of 100 or above...

Those people are just sad and pathetic creatures without enough intellegence to see it.

Where on Earth did you get that figure? The IQ scale is sort of "designed" so that the median is supposed to fall on 100, so roughly half of the population should be above 100 and the other half below.

I believe it's a rather small percentage above 140, and a vanishingly small percentage above 180, but half of the population should be at or above 100. The problem is that the brain, like any other part of you, basically becomes useless porridge if not exercised.

I believe it's 50/50 at 100 (approx.), 95% at 125, 98% at 140, and I know that it's 1 person with 197.

The IQ scale just uses standard deviations. Only one percent or so of people have an IQ above 140, and people with IQ's above 160 are almost statistical anomalies. The problem with this method is that someone with an IQ of 130 is a LOT smarter than someone with an IQ of 120, while someone with an IQ of 60 isn't that much dumber than someone with an IQ of 70. People with IQ's tested below 50 are considered to be virtual vegetables, so someone with an IQ of (say) 45 is MUCH dumber than someone with an IQ of 60, while someone with an IQ of 30 isn't appreciably dumber than someone with an IQ of 40. On the other end of the scale, people with IQ's above 170 are so intelligent that it is almost impossible to differentiate between them, and so it is not really a "fair" scale in the sense that some deviations are far more important and significant than others.
