Naw, I'm excited because the dolphins have an annoying habit of being the first team the 0-5 teams beat, no matter how good they are. (The jags have actually won one game Against SD last week.)

The Phins face off this week against new england. We will lose. I am basing this on the mere fact that I did not wear my mighty , all powerful lucky dolphins shirt to wkr today for casula friday. Every time I wear it, we win. when I do not we lose. Sad, but true. we all know how sports fanatics are superstitious. I even predict that a dolphin star leaves the game after a season ending injury. Jason Taylor, perhaps. Will Sam madison be a factor again as he was against the Jags? I sure hope so, we need to get pressure on the damn quarterback and hold it the whole game to render NE inneffective. I think this weekend will be sad days for Phinfans.....

Well, it happened. At Pro player stadium, no less. And I called it. That FUCKING SHIRT! I KNEW it. the dolphins and patsy's had a decent, though not spectacular game, highlighted by Ricky Williams UN-FUCKING-BELIEVABLE run in the fourth where, by all rights, he should have been down, but, somehow he kept his knees off the ground to pound his way through for a first down. Then Olindo Mare came in for the game winning field goal, and it got blocked all to hell. then, in overtime, dolphins, in typical fashion are back in scoring position thanks to *GASP* a superb drive, orchestrated and facilitated mainly by Jay Fiedler's passing arm. and Olindo Mare botched the field goal from something like 32 yards out. Fucking Dolphins, they force me to face people at work who already think I'm a traitor and now I have to listen to their inane gloating all fucking week. My only solace will be to say: At least MY team isn't looking like the Jets of late 80's/early 90's fame. Jaguars blow goats.

actually the highlight of that game was Tom Brady's strike to Troy Brown in OT when Troy just burned (and embarrassed) the Miami secondary for an 85 yard touchdown.....you know, the one that ended the game. They won in miami 5 years ago, the 13 game streak was games in miami in september and october. Yes, seeing Miami in New England in December is a beautiful thing. I was at the Pats-Dolphins game in 2001 ...it was Dec 23rd and Miami shatterd like a citrus tree in an ice storm. Oh, and Chardok, did you notice how Ricky only ran for 53 yards on 25 carries Sunday?

Yeah, I freaking noticed, but when he broke out.....beautiful...God I love that man. I want to bear his children. when he gets the ball I get (to coin a phrase) a 6 foot hard on with a cheeseburger on the end. did you SEE his run in the fourth, though?! Where he KEPT HIS KNEE off the ground? A-fucking-mazing.

*ahem* If you recall, however, the pats had a HELL of a time containing ricky last year, though, despite the cold. I think this is the year the phins roll into Gilette Stadium and hand NE their ASSES in December! Plus, I will not neglect to wear the lucky dolphins shirt on casual friday that week!
