Since it looks like some of us have read Grimtooth's Tricks and Traps.

Hand them over to a Dark Eldar Haemonculus.. those freaks have raised torture to an art-form (and do some of hte things mentioned here, like skining them alive then putting them back together).

Alrighty, some of these not sci-fi, but hey, torture is torture, its fun for all any way you do it!

Start of by using a blaster at very low power to char the flesh of feet, legs, hands, cheeks, torso sides, and groin in that order. Then pour hot water over the charred sections to strip off the damaged skin leaving fresh new nerves to be tortured. Then use the blaster to slow blow away the feel, hands, arms, and legs 1" at a time. If they start to fade, throw them in bacta for a while. Finally, start stripping muscles off of the body one at a time until they die. Throw them in a sarcophagus and then move on to mental torture, make them watch Battle Star Galactica 1980 over and over with a good does of Jar Jar Binx and Telle Tubbies. Wash... rinse... repeat all above as many times as your sadistic desire wishes.

Well, ciao.

ROFLMAO!!!!
Of course keeping them alive till the end of time and torturing them (filling it with superheated pressurized bacta  would make it nice torture.)
Back in the days when I played Jedi Knight I, I made that pit. It disabled their controld and then teleported them to a ghost point at the top. again, and again and again. And they couldnt leave without restarting their computer....

mwahahahahahahhahah

personally i think it is more subtle without the superheated bacta.

"this doesn't hurt too badly."

to

"please kill me...."

also rig the transporter to add nutrients and remove waste from their bodies.
