The moral highroad doesn't override faults and errors, only glazes over them. I'm sorry you don't know how things work here. good luck with the story, anyway I guess.JME2 wrote:Unlike you Sapnky, I will not resort to such cruel languageSpanky The Dolphin wrote:....

Yeah, good luck, I suppose. At least you're good at writing dialogue and don't have any problems technical-wise.
Give Uts or I a ring if you ever have an Eva-related question, of course.
EDIT: Oh, and do NOT mock people's signatures. It's petty.

I believe in a sign of Zeta.

On the contrary, I was complimenting him andSpanky The Dolphin wrote:Yeah, good luck, I suppose. At least you're a good writer dialogue and technical-wise.

On the subj. of which, just one ? - How's life under Char's benevolent rule?
Kidding!
Actually Spanky-
-I do have a serious ? for you. Do you believe the ideas that some fans have proposed by saying that Chairman Kiel was in fact either the Wandering Jew or even Cain? Personally, I wanted to believe this, but the flashback in episode 21 and the glimpse of a younger Chairman changed all that, at least for me anyway...

Re: Actually Spanky-
He is certainly not Cain or the wandering Jew. He was clearly younger in the ep. 21 flashback. It's just another silly idea some people have made up.JME2 wrote:-I do have a serious ? for you. Uts is right about Keel Lorentz not being either Cain or the Wandering Jew (whose three most common names are Malchus, Cartaphilus and Ahasverus). The "Keel is Cain" thing is new to me, though I admit that I don't hang out in the Eva community. I do have a pet theory concerning Kaworu's origin, but it doesn't have any supporting evidence from the series and is more of a hypothesis than anything else...
Keep in mind that the religious icons and symbols used in Eva don't actually mean anything, and were used purely as plot devices and due to Christianity (and especially) Judaism's foreignness to the Japanese, because they looked cool (Eva's second director has said that if they knew Eva was going to be released in the West while they were making it, they might not have put them in).
So is it really going to be just Yui's spirit? That's certainly a hell of a lot better than Gendo.
As long as you don't have anything too farfetched happen like EVA-01 reactivate or give her a new body, it actually sounds like something interesting.

Yes, it will be Yui's spirit, in part because how Troi would react to contact with Mrs. Ikari is too good to pass up.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Uts is right about Keel Lorentz not being either Cain or the Wandering Jew (whose three most common names are Malchus, Cartaphilus and Ahasverus).
