Get together a few New Macross Battleships with full compliments of VF-11C's, Armored VF-11C's, VF-17D's, and VF-19F's plus Basara is his musical VF-19Kai and the Feddies will be dead by dawn.

As far as fluff and background text goes, of course... but then, there's very little in the official Robotech canon to contradict them, either.

As far as stats go... almost every stat that isn't from an official source is based on size comparisons that they've done over the years. I would suggest that, before you dismiss their work, you spend the amount of time they have put into their work trying to refute it on your own.

I've noticed alot of talk about the tech files..... So everyone's missed the fact that it was made for a fanfic? True, there stats are reasonable, but as far as I can tell, there weapon calcs are made up.

And I've you need reasonable proof for it not being high on the cannonity chain, a really smart guy on spacebattles calced the sdf reflex cannon based on the original firing of the gun at 1.2 gts. It is preety solid calc. Of course its a lower limit as well, so the reflex beam ratings are crap. Every weapon calc on that page was made up, don't bring it hear.

Also everyone here who thinks reflex missles are nukes, needs to watch episode 26 of the original series and episode 44 of macross 7 (I've not watched M7, but I've heard it clearly shows they are not nukes).

Go to any official Robotech FAQ, or even better the FAQ on the Macross Compendium page. Reflex was a mistranlastion of the Japanese term for reaction used in SDF Macross, but was assumed to refer to nuclear devices designed to minimize their fallout and radioactivity.
