I haven't seen Scarface, but I doubt it could be better than The Godfather.
About the quoting... I tend to quote Al Pacino often. Though I don't know where most of the lines come from. Just look at my location and sig.
Can anyone tell me where "just when I think I'm out, they pull me back in" is from?
As for it being a wankfest... Is anyone else really sick of this being used as a catch-all criticism?

Until I watch Scarface, I'm going with Godfather
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."
Godfather is the superior movie, Scarface I just found too gory, but I will admit that it is more quotable ...

Godfather. I like class.

I'm more suprised people don't leap away from you like a leper if you admited you had seen The Postman (I assume you are refering to the Costner movie and not the Italian movie, which has nothing to do with the former).verilon wrote:Surprisingly, people do that when I say I haven't seen The Postman.

Scarface left me kinda cold. But i would say that. I come from a family that set up one of the 1st loyalist paramilitaties and when they did it they modeled the structure on the American/Itallian Mafia. I have to prefer the Godfather, it's a genetic thing.

I think the basic difference is that, when knocking someone off, Montana was gung-ho and insane about it (except the part about killing the guy with his wife and kid). Don Corleone ordered killings like he was ordering pizza.BoredShirtless wrote:Godfather. Montana is too unstable. And too dead, but anyway.

It wasn't just killing people; Montana was too hyper in everything he did. But the guys in the Godfather triology were smooooth.Durandal wrote:I think the basic difference is that, when knocking someone off, Montana was gung-ho and insane about it (except the part about killing the guy with his wife and kid).
