Strategy page is a horrible source of data, never use it. In this case its "combat value" formula is clearly full of shit. The morons who put together that site can't even figure out such basic things as the nature of extremely common explosives, or that aircraft like the MIG-31 which where never exported in fact where never exported. When they where corrected on that latter mistake, they promptly edited the page to show different incorrect information.

In fact Israel's navy is far superior and completely modern, Iran's only significant sized warships are 1960's designs without upgrades, and its FAC's are little better.
I've read Chains of Command, but it was a long time ago- regardless, Russian VVS/PVO fighters would've also had support from GCI- the A-50 is minor compared to the GCI network.
The A-50 is plugged into the GCI network, which is why it can get away with limited computer capacity, a data link sends the information down to a ground station, which then sends it back up, to be broadcast to friendly fighters. A number of other AEW's including some western designed platforms do this as well.
Unless they had CALCMs- oh wait- is that unlikely?
They wouldn't do too well either if an AEW aircraft is flying. Israel could put up a fighter for every one fired unless this is a whole squadron of B-1B's attacking, in which case Iran would also be firing off hundreds of millions of dollars worth of munitions.
