up 3-0, they give up 8 runs in one inning to blow the game. A potential out was botched by one of the fans, who is now being treated like Julius Rosenberg by WGN, of course the botched double play by the Cubs shortly after hurt them much more.

DO the Cubs answer right back to claim what is rightfully theirs? Or Does the curse of the Billygoat maintain?

What happened to the Cubs? Their infamous post-season collapse curse. And a positive blowout. I mean, they let eight runs score in one inning. If anything, it's gonna be an interesting game seven.

The escorted the fan out with multiple armed guards surrounding him, because quite literally, most fans would have killed him.
But in retrospect, that asshole cost the cubs the game. that would have been the second out, farnsworth would have then pitched the strike out, or anything less than a double would not have mattered, and the cubs would have won the game. that stupid little motherfucker cost the team the game. That fan fucked it up, but there's no fucking excuse for giving up 8 runs in an inning in the Goddamn playoffs. None. They turn that double play, nobody gives a shit what that fan did.

And Kerry Wood just gave up a 3 run homer. Fan-fucking-tastic.

You cannot blame this one guy, he was one of at least a half dozen people reaching out for it, if he hadn't gotten up someone else would have grabbed it. And there is no guarantee they would have won. Any team that can give up eight runs in an inning is not one whose performance I would have faith in.

Yes, that was the sort of craptacular blowout people have come to expect from those loveable losers. Now mind you, I'm a Cubs' fan, but when a team gives up eight runs in a single inning, they really have nobody to blame but themselves.

IIRC they also have a police guard stationed at the guys house 24 hours a day at the moment. And the fans who were ready to slaughter the guy need to be shot with bean bags, too. that's fucking rediculous. Rules are rules. that ball was fouled. The guy caught the ball fair and square. Tough shit for the Cubs. quit fucking bitching and play baseball.

It is not that guy's fault. He didn't flub the double play. he didn't lob meatballs over the plate and give up a dozen hits in an inning. he didn't totally collapse and give up 8 runs in one inning. HE DIDN'T CHOKE AND DROP THREE GAMES IN A ROW IN THE LEAUGE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES. The guys on the field did, so if irate Cubs fans are looking for someone to harass they need to look no further than their own bullpen.

edit: oh and P.S. The Dolphins are going to get smacked around Sunday by the Pats!

Stop fucking whining Cubs. Maybe, you know, the Marlins DESERVED to win?! I watched the entire game last night on my mlb account until 4.50am and I'm so fucking sick of sob stories about the Cubs and this billygoat bullshit that I am glad the Marlins won, because they just get on with the game and don't try blaming one fan for a humiliating series collaspe.

I hope the Marlins win the WS and destroy those Yankee scum in the final.
