Quick Question about something

how do I tell how many pins my memory has? (short of popping the case open and checking by hand). I was looking for RDRAM and I keep finding 2 different types and I don't want to purchase the wrong type and have it fuck my comp up

What motherboard are you using? Do you have a manual that came with it?

Either way, there should be documentation (either with you or online) regarding the type of RAM your motherboard is designed to accept.

umm...shit I guess im going to have to look on the Gateway website or something because I sure as fuck don't know what the mobo is......damnit
