I would like to be Drake Merlin in Charles Sheffield's book "Tomorrow and Tomorrow"
This dude is sereously owerpowered.
He has composites of himself in every planet in every galaxy in the universe.
He changes the universe from a closed one that is about to get to the big crunch and turns the universe to an open universe.
Discussion he has whit an other main character

But there's one insoluble problem. Information is equivalent to energy. And I - with all my selves and all my extensions and all my composites - represent enough energy equivalence to make the bounce-back inpossible. It's the ultimate catch: Any universe that I am in must be closed

Hmm, Spike Siegel for sure, I really associate with him. Nicholas Wolfwood from Trigun, or maybe just Keichi Morisatto from Oh My Goddess (I know, I know, no special talents or powers, but he has a goddess for a girlfriend and the best of dumb luck)

I think someone else mentioned this too. The only Sci Fi I really get into is Star Wars, so no surprise here, Admiral or Grand Admiral of a Super Star Destroyer. More likely during the height of the Empire.
