This is for all the 40k players out there *VEG* ever thought if fielding a retro guard unit? one where you can have dreadnoughts,land raiders?(( two guys in the hatches a commander pointing the other manning the hevy stubber ooo the evil) preadators and Rhinos?(( would love to see Guard on bikes))

I have my own chapter of marines, this was under 2nd edition, when guard, inqusition and marines could be nicely fielded together. I'd created a whole background for the combined force, under the overall command of the inquisitior....

Dude we have a dwarven Motar team for heavy support. (Evil grin), we have beastman (Penal Battalions) doing shock attack, and we have sisterhood units with jet packs and powered armour. (all allowed under the old rules)

Modles fuck, I just have paper chits (also allowed under first editon rules)

I don't see why not I have used SFB forces in BFG campaigns after all.

The 1st and second edition rules come with paper cut outs of orks and Marines and said you could use cardboard as stand in's. GW keeps forgetting little items like that in their publications.
