Blame Headset Man!

Post by Darth Fanboy »

I just composed this, at first I was going to do anti SEGNOR lyrics but this seemed to fit more pefectly.

Its an ode to Steve Bartman, whom I hope is treated fairly in the offseason, the cubs were the ones that lost. maybe this will illustrate it a bit
Time's have changed
things are getting worse
the Cubs have lost
to the Marlins and a curse!
Should we blame the managing?
Or blame the ptiching?
Or should we blame the poor fielding?

No, blame Headset Man!
Blame Headset man!
With his eyes up on the ball
no interference was the call

Blame Headset man!
Blame Headset man!
We need to keep excusing
our beloved cubs from losing

Don't blame Dusty,
for leaving Prior In
Even though he was out too long
He should have got the win!

And the shortstop botched
that potential Double Play
if it wasn't for that fan it wouldnt have been that way

Well, blame headset man!
Blame headset man!
Game seven we could not save
Harry caray's rolling in his grave
Blame Headset man!
Blame headset man!

He's not even a real cubs fan anyway

We had world series tickets
for games one and two
but now we're going nowhere
wearing Cubbie Blue

should we blame the billygoat?
should we blame the curse
Or Bernie Macs singing, whichever one is worse?
hell no!
Blame Headset man!
Blame Headset man!

Wait t'ill next year we'll be fine
we've been saying that since 1909
Blame Headset man!
Blame Headset man!

Was Headset Man that guy who caught that ball?

And if so, why is he called that?
