The Punisher Gets a Brand New Bag.(Potential Spoilers)

Post by neoolong »

New shots of the Punisher, movie of course, have emerged.

He is starting to look better.

Including dying his hair.

Holy crap. That is so badass. The Punisher movie is gonna be soooo much better than all the other Marvel super-hero movies that have come out recently. Mainly because Frank isn't a super-hero! He's an asshole with a bad attitude and a shit load of guns. Gotta love him.

I was reading an interview with the actor who plays Frank (I think it was in Wizard) who talked about how he actually was trained by Green Berets and SEALs in armed and unarmed combat. He then described, in detail, how he would kill the interviewer. :P

Hmm, there is a picture of the skull on armor in another picture.

I'll look it up.

M4/M203? Not bad. I know next to nothing about the punisher, other than the fact that he uses guns, and is therefore my favorite hero.

Hell, the movie is being produced in the Tampa Bay area...maybe I should hunt up their schedule.

He looks badass, but something about the skull still doesn't sit right with me. It's like he's wearing something that a lonely 30 year-old would on Halloween.

Its because the comic punisher had a skull that stretched all across his chest, and he wore a turtleneck.

It's his icon.

You can't very well have a Punisher movie without him having it.

It's one of those comic things that doesn't necessarily translate well, but still has to be there.

Hopefully they have decent special effects people. I really hate the huge gasoline explosions we sometimes get when 40mm grenades are popped off. I mean, why the fuck can't movie productions at least just some actual explosives? Especially for shoots in which there are no live actors present on screen.

Don't quote me on this but I thought there was a law limiting them to Low powered stuff like petrol.

Might be, though some explosions I've seen really seemed like they had some actual explosive in them. Anyway, laws are easily bypassed via filming in a third world nation with a GDP less then the production budget and a dictator willing to give the director anything he wants in exchange for a cameo.

I don't think that Florida qualifies just yet. :D
