Throw a question mark on the end of the URL. That will always make a GeoCities webpage work.

As for the pic itself...fairly amusing. But frankly, I cannot see Mike being able to fill the role of Laurence Fishburne...

That was damn funny. My compliments to the author.

I think he would be more like an agent. He doesn't control the system, but he monitors it.

I don't see it happening, I was under the impression DW hated all that presumptuous BS.

You do realize that if RSA runs the matrix he would be more powerful than Darth Wong don't you? :?

Darth Wong gets to win. It's in the script.

Actually, considering that Poe encouraged Mike to start his site, and (I think) started debating first, better postions would be:

Wong: Neo
Poe: Morpheus
RSA: Smith

That way, Wong defeats Smith after a long hard series of fights, and it just fits better.

RSA is one of the ghosts... annoyingly hard to get rid of, and appears to come back for more no matter how much damage you do.

Robert Walper wrote:(Note: I'm certain most people will get the parady here... )

Darth Wong: This is Stardestroyer.net. It's our debating program. We can load anything from logic, to evidence, extrapolations, debating simulations, anything we need.

Newbie:: Right now we're inside a website?

Darth Wong: Is it really so hard to believe? Your clothes are ruffled. The tan on your arms and head are gone. Your hair is changed. Your appearance now is what we call internet addiction. It is the side affect of your digital self.

Newbie:: This, this isn't real?

Darth Wong: What is real? How do you define real? If you're talking about what you can feel, what you can think, what you can comprehend and see, then real is simply semantic bullshit interpreted by your brain. This is the world that you know. The world as it was at the end of the Trekkie dominance. It exists now only as part of a neural-interactive simulation that we call Spacebattles.com. You've been living in a dream world, Newbie:. This is the world as it exists today. Welcome to the abundance of logic and reason. We have only bits and pieces of information, but what we know for certain is that at some point in the early ninety's, all of mankind was united in celebration. We marveled at our own magnificence as we gave birth to Star Trek versus Star Wars.

Newbie:: Star Trek versus Star Wars? You mean the science fiction crossover?

Darth Wong: A singular goal that spawned an entire race of debaters. We don't know who struck first, us or them. But we know that it was us that obliterated the no-laser arguement. At the time they were dependent on power exaggerations along with subjective dialogue interpretation, and it was believed that they would be unable to survive without an energy source as abundant as the wall of ignorance. Throughout human history, we have been dependent on logic to survive. Fate, it seems, is not without a sense of irony. The human brain generates more bio-electricity than a 12-volt battery and over 2,500 BTU's of body heat. Combined with a form of retardation, the Trekkies had found all the energy they would ever need. There are websites, endless websites, where human beings are no longer learning, we are brainwashed. For the longest time I wouldn't believe it, and then I saw the websites with my own eyes. Watch them overwhelm the intelligent so they could be drowned out in stupidity. And standing there, facing the pure horrifying precision, I came to realize the obviousness of the truth. What is Spacebattles.com? Control. The website is a computer generated dream world, built to keep us under control in order to change a human being into a Trekkie.

Newbie:: No. I don't believe it. It's not possible.

Darth Wong: I didn't say it would be easy, Newbie:. I just said it would be the truth.

Newbie:: Stop. Let me out. Let me out. I want out.

"Ahahahhahahaha! Oh, I'd better sit down before I bust a gut!"
