My idiot sister left on the gas range after the flame blew out for about 3-4 hours, and didn't turn off the gas even after you could smell it. She didnn't even go outside. What a moron. :roll:

Electric for me, sometimes it's hard to tell when thething is on, there have been accidents. My skin is better now.

Luckily, our halogen range has a warning lamp on it that tells you when each element is hot :D

Gas is better, but I'd rather have electric (for safety reasons). I get along fine with electric.

Gas is definitely better. Besides electricity is expensive as hell, and you have to turn the thing on for several minutes until the damn thing heats. That said, I wouldn't even consider running gas pipes thru houses, that's why we have refillable gas containers.
