Yep, as all popups are, it's annoying as hell...

I'm using Firebird and I havn't seen an ad popup in who knows how long.
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

The google toolbar plugin for internet explorer is also very nice to block popups.

Whaddayamean plugins for Yahoo? Do you mean like Flash, Shockwave or Java? Well, you can always go to the page with the game, click on the "plugin required" or whatever icon, and it will take you to the Netscape site to download the appropriate plugin. If you know it's java, just go to java.sun.com and get the latest runtime.

Or just download the full installers from Macromedia's site. Mozilla comes with Java IIRC.

Well, actually the Netscape plugin search simply redirects you to those.
Mozilla comes with Java IIRC.
I think not.

If you look in the Mozilla directory in your Program Files dir, you'll notice that it comes with the required DLLS to make Java work. Before 1.0 you had to move them manually.

Mozilla requires that you install Sun's J2SE first.
