While I understand that Led Zep has an almost cult status amongst listeners, and the song 'Stairway to Heaven' to be the pinicle of that sect, I have never bought into it.

While excellent, "Stairway to Heaven" isn't the best song on ZoSo. For me it's a tie between "The Battle of Evermore" and "Going to California."

Yes, but that's on Led Zeppelin II, not ZoSo. ;)

Yes, and it's not either of the two original songs mentioned for comparison either. So once people started mentioning songs that weren't the two in the title of the thread, I figured the field was open.

Be grateful I didn't say that "Achy Breaky Heart" ownz all, or something. :P :D :wink:
