Proposal for new Titlesult.

Post by The Duchess of Zeon »

I suggest that the Titlesult "Tinfoil Man" be added, to be given out to those people who hold onto a pet theory about a particular incident or group which defies all rational analysis and known facts about that incident or group and yet, when this is demonstrated, they refuse to give it up. The rules for the process of actually applying it would be the same as for the Village Idiot title, possibly--I'm just suggesting it as an additional title along with the VI title.

We need to apply VI to more morons, and make much less use of any other title. Few morons warrant anymore then that.

To what degree of a belief would this apply?

I say VI would be fine. We already has specific degredatory titles for the WCotC people, the EliteFitness jocks, people that resort to outright trolling and spamming, and a few others given to specific trolls, I don't see why we need to add more for now.

The less a specific an insulting title, the better. Specific titles only make people feel proud.
Don't hate; appreciate!

Oh, Hollow Earth Theorists, people claiming the world is ruled by the Zionist Occupational Government, LaRouchites, Alien Abduction theorists who claim there's a goverment cover-up, people who believe in a U.N. Conspiracy to take over the World, anti-Free Masonists, anyone who believes in Chick's conspiracy theory but somehow manages to avoid the Fundie title (yes I know that's unlikely), people who think the U.S. government is actively trying to exterminate the black population of the USA, anyone who spouts off a conspiracy theory with the phrase "Trilateral Commission" in it, people who believe in a "Popish Plot" in general, of course, and, hrmm.. Ah, yes! People who claim the Apollo landing was a hoax. Those sorts, just to name a small sampling of the sort of "theories" that have been proposed on those lines.

Oh, no. I think we need something to let people know that this person it's been applied to has wrapped their body thoroughly in tinfoil and is ready and able to defend their person from the assault of the... Government Mind Control Laser Satellites!

Damn you Marina. Now I can't rummage through my Illuminati set, pick a card, and start ranting (actually, when you listed examples, it was like YOU were looking through an Illuminati set).
