That is wrong on so many levels, mainly because I can (sort of) read Cyrillic. (Read it to pronounce it, but have only a little clue as to what it means. Just like I can do the same with Greek...)

If read as Cyrillic, that should be (unless I fucked up royally):

Pa, good wobk, combape. Now you eabnep 20 reorle's hebo roints. 2800 mobe roints and you can have the soviet-mape gluejeans!

Probably because it's just a Cyrillic font and not actual Cyrillic. ;)

It's a little something commonly known as "Fake Russian" :P :P I used as many Cyrillic letters as possible so it could still be readable in English, but still visually pass off as vaguely Russian. Considering most online cases of Fake Russian just use the 'backwards R' and stick in crap like gamma, and omega, I'm pretty damn proud (though I guess I could have stayed with a standard 'D'. That was a last-minute choice).

Obvi-fucking-ously, if I wanted it to pass off as real Russian, I would have put it under more scrutiny and effort, and then finally given up because clearly there's no point if all the English-readers online take one look at it and go 'what the hell's it say, you tard?' No offense, but I kinda have to compromise for the intended audience.

At least you still managed to read what it says, so I'm satisfied. No Hero Points for you, though.

EDIT: As for the phi-like 'O', it's purely extra flair of stylization for the lettering I decided to use. It's a bit of a tip-of-the-hat to the 'In Soviet Russia, The Monkey Spanks You' poster, essentially.

Actually.. that first symbol makes a D sound.

Now...

Da, Gffd wfyak, sfmyaade! Nfw ufu eayaned 20 refrle's heyaf rfints. 2800 mfyae rfints and ufu can have the sfviet-made bluejeans!

Now, pronounce every character in there.. lol. That is, putting in English phoenetics for the Russian characters..

[EDIT] Oh, and as far as the fake Russian.. well.. I don't remember seeing that "O"-ish character in either Greek or Russian. o.O The F character in Russian, though, looks like Phi...

D'oh. I didn't think I got it right.

Well, Cyrillic was adapted from the Greek alphabet by Cyril and Methodius way back around the last millennium, so it's no accident that they look (and are pronounced) somewhat similarly.

It's a bit ironinc we've spent the last 7 posts serriously discussing proper Cyrillic pronounciation, all due to a Smirnoff-esque poster with quirky grammar that offers out red communist-star stickers for doing good deeds. :?

Bleh... I for one don't find said "Fake Russian" very funny, particularly in the case of Я (which makes a "ya" sound IIRC). But, whatever floats your boat :P

Like I said, if I wrote it completely in Cyrillic, the crowd of people I've alienated/bored would quadruple. Thank you for shopping, we hope to see you as a regular customer. :P

I can't beleive I forgot I had this picture already up on my account.

This was in responce to the tutorials being posted on WC3Campaigns, which were done by skilled art people, and they supposedly gave really thorough steps, tips, and guides on how to draw good-looking skins for 3D game models. Knowing me (or at least knowing me as well as I do), I complained by posting my own identical (well, not exactly identical) beginner's guide to expert-quality skins:

A can barely ingest a pizza 1/3 that size. Anyone who can eat all that is quite simply not human.
