Too bad the useless piece of shit would melt if it fired at that rate for more then a fraction of a second and that any task that actual requires more then a few rounds would also require fire over a prolonged period. Also notice the tiny barrel length, you see if you fire too quickly with a barrel with a length sufficient to be militarily useful then you end up with multipul rounds in the barrel at once. That causes something very interesting to happen, the barrel warps and then explodes. You can reach rates of fire sufficient for this to happen with belt fed machine guns, which is yet another reason why Metalstorm is pointless.
And as much as I like guns, give me CG.10 Albany. Any ship, which was had its design justified by its capability to bombard any target with thermonuclear missiles is a winner in my book.
