I honestly was not expecting us to pull this one off. I mean, we just aren't a first rate team any more. We have entered the pit of mediocrity, and unless some major changes are made, we won't get out. Thing is, Fulmer isn't planning on making any changes.

Did everyone notice ASU's choke routine against UCLA?

It was 13 to 10 at half and UCLA won it 20 to 13.

Talk about a team that is squeeking them out. UCLA could've/should've lost to Arizona, Cal, and ASU. At least they still have to play WSU and USC before they can go to the Rose Bowl.

In the SEC, how about Ol' Miss. They are undefeated in their conference. They still have USC, Auburn, LSU and Miss. St. left to play in their conference.

Incidently, Arizona got it's ass kicked again. They were begining to be somewhat respectable the last two games they played but this recent ass whippin' harkens back to how they were doing before coach Mac got the boot. I'm guessing that they'll be back on ESPN's bottom 10 now.

Well, despite Bama's horrible season, my alma mater, the University of North Alabama, continues to kick fourth point of contact and take names (they beat Central Arkansas 31 to 12 yesterday to improve their record to 7-0). They're ranked Number 4 nationally in Division II, but they'll face the toughest test of the season next week against Number 1 Valdosta State.

Hey, UNA's not that far from where I live. I still go to Florence occasionally, as well, and we used to go on field trips there.

WVU is better than people think, but not consistent enough to be ranked. Hell, they even gave my Canes a scare! They could own the Big East next year.

In a Division II powerhouse football matchup, by alma mater, the third-ranked University of North Alabama, will face off against Number 1 Valdosta State University. Should be a heck of a game...

Just got my tickets to the UT-Duke game this weekend. Looks like it should be a good game for UT, or at least I hope so. We can't stand to loose two homecoming games in a row.

It would be hard for them not to, given how bad the Big East is gonna suck with VaTech and Miami.

Just when you'd think a team couldn't get any worse Arizona just canned their best running back today. Clarence Farmer didn't get along with John Makovic at all but he'd been back playing since Makovic got canned (122yrds rushing against UCLA). Well, now Farmer was let go, supposedly for continued tardiness. He said that he was late because he'd been shagging balls for the baseball team (he was drafted by the Dodgers last year).

I guess Arizona is going to stay on ESPN's bottom 10 for the rest of the year.

Did you happen to see the ad for College Game Day on ESPN?

It had Fowler, Herbstreit and Corso watching a Georgia player go through and obsticle course. It ended with him wrestling a real alligator in a pit of water before he could go on.

Pitt, Syracuse, West Virginia still keep that conference competitive enough internally so that you cant completely discount them. But they'll be a Mid Major and won't warrant a BCS bowl Bid. However I could see the best teams in the Big East and the best teams in the MAC coming together maybe to form a Conference worthy of maybe a bid.

I only see if for a little while once a week when I'm visiting my parents. No cable in my house (I have to many hobbies already that encourage assal horizontology I don't need anymore).

That's hard to say. Both the Big 10 and Pac-10 leaders could crash and burn any week before the Rose Bowl. If Ohio State keeps playing the way they've been so far whatever game they end up in will be boring as all get out.

I guess, at this point I'd have to go with the Michigan/Michgan State winner vs. the WSU/USC winner.

I'd like to see LSU go to a big bowl and win, maybe kick the crap out of FSU.

Fiesta: Georgia-OSU (I'd sell my soul for this matchup)
Rose: Michigan State-USC
Orange: FSU-LSU

Assuming Georgia and LSU play at the SEC Championship, whichever team loses deserves an at-large BCS bowl.

Its too bad then that USC, OSU, and Georgia cant lay round robi, damned! WE need playoffs this year! A Six Team Format with the top two getting byes.

Ugh...evil ESPN. They have the most slanted sports broadcasts of ANYTHING. Take the Titans-Oakland game. It might as well been 'Oakland Plays Some Infidel Team'. They do that to the entire SEC and a few select NFL teams, I do believe.
