Version 2.0 of the Flamewarrior Guide to be released

Post by Crayz9000 »

http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/28/33585.html

"After a four year hiatus, one of the canons of Internet sociology is about to be updated with a Second Edition. Mike Reed tells us he is looking to refresh his illustrated guide to online personalites, Flame Warriors. The 49-page First Edition recorded for posterity - with unflinching detail and very acute observation - such types as Rottweiler Puppy and Profundus Maximus."

Sweet.

Yeah, a lot of his stuff is nice, but there needs to be a nice differentation
between the bomb throwers like GAP who run in and set off a nuke, versus
the ones who wade in with a Flamethrower, frying everything in site and
reuding the thread to seething masses of flames over several days.

Awesome! I hope he adds something like Sock Puppet or Sock Puppeteer. Then there'd be another label to stick Deimos with.

I suggested "Grey" poster's mindset is clearly not from this world, and may experiment with other flamewarriors to see what makes them tick....

The pedophiles...*shudder*. I don't remember their names, but they both got HOSed real quick. Anyone able to provide links (if their posts are even still up)? I'm not wading that deep in the Sewer.

Or myself would be an example of a benevolant "Grey" it's someone whose thought processes seem utterly alien to the majority.
