Rebel Strike: Which Campaign?
Which campaign are you looking foreward to the most, Luke's or Wedge's?
And this is why you don't watch anything produced by Ronald D. Moore after he had his brain surgically removed and replaced with a bag of elephant semen.-Gramzamber, on why Caprica sucks

YESYESYESYES! Thank you thank you thank you!
The level where you take out the Executor(after first taking out the big guns and a few ISDs with Ackbar's ship being nice and huge) as you see the cut scene as you are flying at the SSD Ackbar says "The forward shields are down, if you hit the bridge, you may just be able to take it out." No A-Wing single handedly taking out the SSD's shields and hitting the bridge!

I haven't unlocked that level yet. Looks fun. The game so far is kick ass. but very SHORT. You can really blast through some levels easily. I knew they were gonna back the toughness up from Rogue Leader but DAMN. The foot missions kinda suck. All in all, if you like the Rogue Squadron series, you need to play this.

Yeah, I have all but Rebel Endurance unlocked and the Slave 1(which rules in this one, sonic mine! The Executor mission's gold is 55 kills and 35% accuracy. With the Sonic mines which are hella powerful and have insane range, I had 155 kills and 100% accuracy, but died once too many times) It starts with 20 and they replenish over time like proton bombs. TIE Bomber has lock on missiles as it's primary weapon, and bombs as it's sceondary, both replensh, although the missile do so a lot faster. And the exsplosions don't suck ass, firgates catch on fire before they blow.

I finally unlocked the damn Executor mission. It was pretty fucking bitching. Except for the part where I'm an A-Wing trying to take out 'ion canons'. Escape from Hoth was like that too. Take down another Star Destroyer. I loved that in the first one, and I can't wait to have someone help me out on it, but here it seems kinda redundant. That damn Skiff level could be waaaay better. Luke barely blocks the lasers. I don't know why they didn't allow you to go first person. I think my new EGM was going on about that. Personally it feels like an expansion more than anything, but that's fine with me, they can keep pumping out flying missions like this. That's probably the one thing I'll say the X-Wing series on PC has over the Rogue series. Number of missions. Rogues are funner, but fewer. I guess it's that quality over quantity thing.

Hey me, it's me again. Is it just me, or did they NOT use the SE ending of Return of the Jedi at the end of Rebel Strike?

Still fun....but I agree with Cal need more flying(the Skiff battle just blech)

Yeah I noticed that too...
On my first run I got practically Bronze for everything with 3 gold, and a couple Silvers(heck I got Silvers on most of the extra missions as well)
Though getting Golds in RS2 is hard unless your partner is up to snuff(that shared accuracy bit is just mean)

Yeah, one friend of my sucks at this game(16000 vs 25 in a ramage mission, I swear to god) and the other doesn't get to his house til late the day I'm over at his house, and still he hasn't played since RS, he killed us in the first level once we got to the trench eating up our lives very quickly.Ghost Rider wrote:Yeah I noticed that too...
