Halloweenie songs

Post by Rye »

Ok, well tomorrow, i will be staying in, doing sweet fuck all.

However, my parents will go out at some point (to avoid trick or treat-ers) and i have a decent sound system, and an openable window.

So, i need some songs to get to drive away all but the most determined of trick-or-treaters, with a suitibly intimidating and scary halloweenish sound.

So, spooky songs please? Much appreciated.

Check out the score to "The Nightmare Before Christmas." Kickass.

Anything by Misfits. I always give them a spin right around this time of year; puts me right in the mood for halloween.

You may want to listen to Helloween's Halloween--its literally about Halloween.

How about Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast?

Serial Killer Slash's Snakepit
Mister Torture - Helloween
"I fight with love, and I laugh with rage, you gotta live light enough to see the humour and long enough to see some change" - Ani DiFranco, Pick Yer Nose

"Life 's not a song, life isn't bliss, life is just this: it's living." - Spike, Once More with Feeling

I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned the Danse Macabre.
Also some Apocolyptica may suffice, especially as they have a version of Hall of the mountain King.
