defend your castle! Addictive as hell! FUN FUN FUN!!!

EDIT_____________
Oh, you simply click on the guys and drag to throw them...then they splat! save up your money! buy archers to help you later, also, be sure to save up for a manapool, those spells are godlike! (first thing you buy is a temple, then drop in enemies to convert them, and use them laster as archers, wizards, craftsmen, etc!)

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Tip: Get a temple early on, and start converting.

It gets boring when you have a couple hundred archers, wizards, etc... I mean, you're practically untouchable, you could leave the thing on overnight and still survive.

WTF? I clicked on it while it was loading, and my computer froze. :?

Fun game though. Even if it starts off a bit slow.

You know, considering the tactics of the guys attacking the castle, perhaps it would be appropriate if they looked like Federation Troops.

how in the HELL did you guys get a couple hundred archers? I could only manage to keep like a maximum of 30 at any time, and even that required me to have 10 wizards for support!!! that is simply amazing...

If the guys actually make it up to your castle and start beating on your door, then the archers/wizards start dying, I think, that's what I noticed, anyway.

Ok, here's a bit of a strategy guide:

Your units are dying because you can't afford the upkeep. Archers and Wizards cost 200p and Builders cost 50p every level. At the end of each level, the game takes the cash you started the level with, and subtracts the upkeep. If you run short, you lose units. Then it adds your new money. (Not the way it shows things on the scoring screen, but that's how it actually works.) So make sure you don't spend too much at the end of each level; you need to keep money for upkeep.

The best strategy I could find was this:
-get a temple, and start converting
-get a workshop, and aim for about 10 Builders
-get a mana pool, and start training Wizards
-spend your money on Builders, Wizards, and fortifications

Wizards -> conversions -> more Wizards & Builders -> etc.

I'm around level 20, with 400 Wizards and 400 Builders. As soon as my walls are at 100,000 HP I won't need any more spending money, so I'll double my army.

I find that Archers aren't much fun, they just kill everything automatically, so you lose "conversion fodder".

Onward, Fruits of Islam, / Fight 'till you're deceased.

Yah, yah, yah, / Yah-yah-yah-yah plfffffffft!

Ah, wait until you get to the large people that can't be dropped to their deaths.

I generally get a temple first, then a mana pool. After that, conversions happen quickly, meaning a lot more amount of men.

Remember, in early stages, save your wizard spells for the big guys.

I finally achieved defensive perfection. 150 archers, 65 craftsmen, 6 wizards (They're useless.) my archers take out the big guys and the suicide bombers rather quickly. and enough lackeys survive so that I can still keep a good conversion rate! Current spendable points: 1,191,698 total castle strength: 69k. ONCE MORE INTO THE FRAY!!!!

I have 80 wizards I use them to instant convert the big ones that don't get shot by archers.
Once you get past level 20 you get enough points to make sure of upkeep among the archers.

Poor littel guys. The only chance they have at survival is being one of the lucky ones I drop into the temple.

If I recall correctly, I had around 300 wizards and around twice that many archers. With a relatively small number of builders, I was able to simply completely sit back in most of the later levels.

With the number of wizards I had, the only way I could make a dent in the mana pool was to rapidly as possible, using the hot-key, a mass conversion for a good part of a minute.
