I'd prefer to be an expert at storytelling and comic art personally, with a good knowledge of other things, but excelling in a creative area.

I like to have basic knowledge of many subjects, and then specialize in one area.

I would point out that Franklin is well known for his Jack of all Trades work and lifestyle.
But I personally am working toward specialization, though I plan to work a bit of knowledge to conversations on all subjects.

well, unless a complete barbarian you should also have heard of foster (you know, the guy who built the london city hall) or at least liebeskind since he got big attention for winning the world trade center pitch.

I try to learn all I can, for knowledge is power.

But to get anywhere you need to excel in your field, it's all very well knowing a little of everything, though knowing a lot about one thing gets you somewhere if you want to be an expert.
