This got me thinking what would you do for a Simpsons Halloween special?

I think they could do a great spoof of "They Live". Homer could find the glasses and recreate the bank scene. Then the aliens could give him a choice of joining them for the good life, Homer accepts but just then the tower from the movie gets destoyed by "They Live"'s protaginist and the aliens have to run from an angry mob and Homer is disappointed that he won't get rich(as you see chaos in the streets)

They still havent touched Friday the 13th, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Alien and dozens of other classic horror films. They could do a great spoof of Psycho with Prinicipal Skinner and his whole "mother" issue!

They've done that. Not in a Halloween episode, no, but At least in one episode his mother lives in an identical house that overlooks the school like it was the Bates motel.

It had its moments, but I would have liked to have seen Jerry Lewis as professor Frinks father in a regular episode, and not a Halloween episode.

Yeah i know--"theres mother now...watching me...what that mother? That Sailor suite doesnt fit anymore!"

They could also manage a good TCM spoof with Cletus and his redneck family.
