Or why Grand Master Terwynn can't blink.

I spent three days straight reading the Sluggy archives. This brings me to the point of my post. A cursory inspection of the forum doesn't scare up a thread like this in recent history so here is today's question:

What web comics would you recommend to other denizens and why?

I enjoy Sexy Losers, despite it being one of the most messed up webcomic's that I've ever read...

No....no I cannot tell you. The twisted web I have woven for myself...it would surely break any other who dared to tempt fate.

I have sampled dozens, perhaps even hundreds of webcomics in my time. Quality is always a question, both in writing and in art. Puncuality is another. It is all too common for webcomic artists to produce no buffer strips and thus fall dreadfully behind during times of high stress.

If the art is incredibly poor, but the writing is good, the artist should hire someone else to do the art and stick to being a writer...that or use lower-impact forms of art (sprite comics, cut and paste, etc). If the quality of art is high, but the story is lacking or nonexistant, seek out a writer!

Some webcomics are exquisite, but only update weekly. These I don't read for months at a time, then go and catch up on the last several pages.

But I ramble. There are many...one needs to merely look. Keenspot and Keenspace hold many gems, though you will have to look very carefully for them in Keenspace

It's Walky! is a great comic. It was originally called Roomies, but in 1999, it changed it's focus, and became It's Walky!

It's got an interesting cast of characters who work for the agency SEMME, which battle alien invaders. It's got a great mix of comedy and drama, and it can get very deep at times. (Like the current storyline is going...)

Foxtrot, Garfield and Dilbert are all available in papers, so the only one that's exclusively on the web is the Gamespy Daily Victim which isn't a comic as such it's just a "funny thing" for gamers.

Schlock Mercenary, at schlockmercenary.com

The artwork is initially poor, but greatly improves over time and is now fairly decent. It is a daily comic, has *never* missed a day in several years of operation, and is very, very funny. Basically, it's the story of an intrepidly greedy band of space mercenaries in a bizarre 31st century.

What's the name of that comic strip with an elf and a tentacle demon and some vampire and Goku, who talk like they're in a chatroom? I haven't read it in a long time.
