The Matrix: Revolutions (WARNING:SPOILERS!!!)

Post by Col. Crackpot »

I managed to score free tickets to an advance screening of Revolutions and i am happy to say it blows the shit out of Reloaded. Smith is goddamn great and makes the movie. he goes completely insane.... if a piece of application software is capable of insanity. There is almost an hour long running battle for the defense of Zion. One thing that i found stupid: the Zion armored corps consist of mechs that are heavily armored everywhere except where the operator sits. Yes the operator's position is completely un shielded. He just sits out in the open  other than that it is a thoroghly enjoyable movie.

EDIT: Just wanted to clarify: MAJOR spoilers ahead. -Crackpot

So what would you give each movie from the triology out of ten?

soooooooo, do ya wanna know who dies? who lives? what gets blown up?

read at your own peril:
the fleet is destroyed, as is most of the army, Zion is almost overrun in one hell of a fantastic battle. Neo gets all sorts of jedi like powers outside of the matrix, Neo and Trinity race to the machine city figting through the most nasty looking tank-things i have ever seen, trinity is killed in a crash and neo , with brass balls the size of basketballs marches up to the computer core and demands peace in excahnge for him eliminating Smith who has become a growing uncontrollable virus that has overrun the matrix. Finally Neo and Smith throw down super kung-fu style and destroy half a city in one final battle. they both die, the machines hold up their end of the bargain and peace is declared.

EDIT: Oh and BS: This is easily the best of the trilogy. i give it 8 1/2 out of 10

So, that power source crap is left in there?

And could you describe the 'scariest looking tank thing' in more detail?

Big black bio-mechanical (looked like) heavily armored tanks half the size of the Nebuchadnezzar.

Well, well, they killed off the characters I hated the most. Good job. I may yet see this movie.

At least now I know not to bother seeing it. A shame they took a great first movie and fucked it into the ground.

the snooty Frenchman is back. as is his fucking smokingly hot wife. the outfit she wears in one scene does something to her tits allowing them to defy gravity.

What about Morpheus? From the description it sounds like he's just fooling around giving lectures and watching Neo in hope?

No, morpheus kicks some ass both in and out of the matrix. and yes he does spout some of that psudo-spiritual stuff, but in acceptable quantities.

I kind of thought it was Smith, but does he stab his eyes, or pluck them out like in Once Upon a Time in Mexico?
