Have you chosen a new poll? I know I could find out if I just checked, but if you haven't I don't think that I could handle the heartbreak!

EDIT :: Damn! 4th to vote people! :D

Whoops! I forgot about how I normally order them from lowest to highest number of votes. I fixed it.

Good stuff. I'm still rewriting a lot of my website with updates and new material, but like you said, a hundred different RL issues are taking precedence.

The Susan Sackett book actually turned into a very informative resource, rather than a salacious tell-all that it started out to be. For instance, she confirms that Roddenberry wrote the ST:TMP novelization (She edited it and corrected Roddenberry's diction as well.) Having ONLY "Mosaic" and "Pathways" be the only canon books is ridiculous, in this regard.

She also confirmed that Roddenberry hated ST 5, and refused to even view dalies from it. This is in large part because Shatner's script where the crew meet a flawed "god" is virtually the same premise ("The God Thing") Roddenberry proposed for a Trek script, but was rejected.

Sackett also stated Roddenberry disliked ST6, and during the screening, he kept saying "No....no..." However, Roddenberry was suffering from strokes and at least one brain operation at the time.

A note on Roddenberry's "official" biography: this guy was hand picked by Roddenberry's estate to do it, and according to Sackett, was already following Majel Roddenberry around days after Roddenberry's death. For some interesting reading on competing biographies of Roddenberry, check this out

Middle-earth is a continent (or possibly the geographical area of Arda inhabited by mortal beings consisting of many continents), not a planet. Arda is the planet.

On the Occum's Razor Page you say "Let's say three different people propose three different equations to model this curve"

then give four equations

I think this would be an excellent addition to the Creator section of the canon page:
George Lucas from Splinter of the Mind's Eye wrote:After Star Wars was released, it became apparent that my story--however many films it took to tell--was only one of thousands that could be told about the characters who inhabit its galaxy. But these were not stories that I was destined to tell. Instead they would spring from the imagination of other writers, inspired by the glimpse of a galaxy that Star Wars provided. Today it is an amazing, if unexpected, legacy of Star Wars that so many gifted writers are contributing new stories to the Saga.

A pictorial plot synopsis of Star Trek: Nemesis has been added.
Funny as hell. May I suggest adding the MST3K silhouette to the Nemesis pics?

You know its sad, but no hate mail can really reach the degree of utter hilarity that are the Stilgar pages. Those are still among my most favorite (not in the least I actually remember who Stilgar was....)

Which reminds me, do you remember when he used to post on Brian Young's old TLC "comments" section? Those were hilarious :D

I only noticed the updates when I saw that the poll was different. I especially like the new Hate Mail. But I'm still wondering what made that Ryan Griffin guy think that you need a PhD to do high-school level science.

I have to say that the ST: Nemesis summary was far more entertaining than the movie itself.
Chris: "Way to go dad, fight the machine"
Stewie: "How do you know about the machine?"
--
"I object to you. I object to intellect without discipline. I object to power without constructive purpose."
-Spock, 'The Squire of Gothos'
--
"I'm only 56? Damn, I'll have to get a fake ID to rent ultra-porn".
-Professor Farnsworth, "Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles"

I see you still haven't added the Battle of Geonosis to the battles section.

He still hasn't done a lot of things on the webpage. He only has so much time. I wish he'd work on the canon database more, but you know if wishes were ponies...

Reading this:
AJT wrote:Starfleet troops, mostly engineers and scientists to determine how to work the Dominion comm system. Add five months of hunger, sleep deprivation, and wracked nerves because of the Houdini mines and Jem'Hadar raids.
... and this:
AJT wrote:Finally, THEY WEREN'T MARINES. They weren't a well-trained security detachment: They were basically thrown together to try and make use of a vital strategic resource. They don't have any bearing on the general compentence or ability of true Federation troops.

... I was reminded of a mention of "front lines" in the Siege of AR-558, so I looked up the script, and here's what I found:
QUARK: Some assignment... a fact-finding mission to the front lines.
... At first glance, it's hard to believe that Sisko, Ezri, Bashir and Nog wear the same uniform as these people. They're not the crisp, clean and confident Starfleet officers we're accustomed to. These soldiers have been living on the front lines for the past five months and it shows... they're tired, dirty, hollow-eyed. They're also heavily armed.
VARGAS: According to Starfleet regulations we're suppose to be rotated off the front lines after ninety days -- ninety days. We've been stuck here for five months!
EZRI: You have no idea... I'll give you an example, this is my first time on the front lines.
