DK "Classic Locations" Book in the Works...

Post by Spanky The Dolphin »

I just found this in the Book section on TF.N, which implies that DK has an "Inside the Worlds of the Star Wars Classic Trilogy" book in the works:
James Luceno, author of the upcoming "The Unifying Force", the blockbuster conclusion to the New Jedi Order, took time out from his busy schedule to chat with fans over at starwars.com's Hyperspace Celebrity Chatroom.
Here are some highlights from the chat:

* "What I can talk about is the DK Classic Locations book, for which I'm writing the text, and which has incredible illustrations of places like the cantina, Ben's house, Jabba's throne room, the route through the Death Stars and others."
Let's hope that it's at least as good as the previous two (particularly AOTC), and of the possibility that Saxton might serve as an advisor again...

I agree with that setiment, hopefully Saxton will be onboard for this.

Though I laught about the description of TUF as "blockbuster" even though it just hit the streets today (though its good so far)

Exerpt from Luceno interview:
After this long and difficult project, have you had your fill of Star Wars? Are you still a fan?

I'll always be a fan, but after The New Jedi Order wrapped, I thought I'd had my fill. That was until the folks at DK Publications asked if I'd be interested in writing the text for next year's Classic Locations book!

 I didn't see it. I really need to stop posting and doing homework at the same time.
