Pearl Harbor
While Pearl Harbor does not approach Saving Private Ryan in quality it was still a good movie. There were some problems with the movie but it should not be called overrated.
You're insane, it was a piece of shit. A Jerry Bruckheimer movie! Wow! Who cares.
Waterworld
Considered by many to be a waste of money, I remember a NASA scientist joking that they could have sent a mission to Mars for the money spent making Waterworld. Waterworld was indeed not very good when considering the amount of money spent. It was not however neither as bad as some people may think.
The most underestimated movie ever; it's not bad, it's SHIT.
Gladiator
Gladiator was an epic film. How can someone consider it as being overrated ?
The blind? Great movie.
Saving Private Ryan
Proboly the best WW2 movie ever made. It is hard to believe that some people disliked it and considered it overrated.
Yes, and it's easily the most realistic war movie I've ever seen, which means ever made because I've seen them all.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden dragon
Definately not a very good movie and definately not the best foregein film.
The action sequences were medicore and the plot was hard to understand.
Who said it was the best foreign film ever made? Nobody. The action sequences were energetic and "magical", while the plot was easy to understand and a lot fresher then the crap coming out of Hollywood.
Citizen Kane
I heard of this film many times. What is it about ?
It's a movie about a nightclub owner in Casablanca called Kane who falls in love with a woman called Scarlett during the American Civil War.
2001 : A Space Oddysy
It is an old film and may appear boring to today's viewers. But to me it was a very good movie.
Why? Are you one of those arty types who thinks the ending ISN'T the compeltely abstract meaningless piece of shit it truly is?
