We are starwars humans, we are like all of those in cyber-punk, a genre that William Gibson ripped off the greatness of the trek Borg for

We should all take turns writing a refutation to Scooter's BS. Knowing he will use all his free time to write up responses, it will guarantee he never gets out of hte house. Oh wait, who am I kidding. That will never happen anyway.Lord Poe wrote:Anyway, I've frazzled Scooter so badly about this, he's used his weekend to make two new pages especially about me! Hehehe!

Like how he stupidly claims that Slave 1 missing against a person who can see the future and dodge early is evidence of poor technology?Lord Poe wrote:Got another update brewin' and comin' very soon that will answer what Solo had planned for the first TIE, among other things.

No, nothing to do with that! Just a bit of evidence I didn't include in the page which would clear up one mystery.Ender wrote:Like how he stupidly claims that Slave 1 missing against a person who can see the future and dodge early is evidence of poor technology?Lord Poe wrote:Got another update brewin' and comin' very soon that will answer what Solo had planned for the first TIE, among other things.
I WOULD have had it done last night, but my OWN "piece of junk" took a shit and left me stranded twice this week now. (See the "venting" thread in HoS after I post this!)

Well, he'd stop going to his job. Thus cutting his cashflow. Thus causing his ISP to pull the plug. Which would be really, really funny, all things considered.Darth Servo wrote:We should all take turns writing a refutation to Scooter's BS. You know, I read most of the people you reference's work, or debated with them here. I've read alot of websites. But I never think I've seen anything by Andrew Tse. Its like he's one of those mystery men involved in every plot, but not a central figure.

Yes, there's a few "mystery men" that lurk behind the scenes and follow these debates!Ender wrote:You know, I read most of the people you reference's work, or debated with them here. Andrew is like Curtis in that he's not really a "Vs" debator.. he's somewhat aware of the discussions but he follows analysis more than anything else. I know him from babtech really well, and he's a great guy and I'm really lucky to know him and be able to talk to him.
I think Wayne will back me up on this, too. (And I'm glad to know you too Wayne )

I sent my own estimates for the same scene Brian used to derive the 68 m/s speed (I even observed the video clip you provided on your site of that instance!) I estimated at least five ship lengths in that amount of time. (To give Brian credit, he said "at least" and tends to be more conservative sometimes. )Lord Poe wrote:Too far off the beaten path for that page.
