Pauline Hanson off the hook

Pauline Hanson, has been had her convition overturned by the highest court in NSW. Walking away, from it she doesnt even have a criminal record anymore.

More over all her legal fees should be able to be recovered, as well as probable being sucessful at sueing the NSW judisial system for a miscarriage of justice.

There wil probable be an inquest into it as well as the Labor leader of NSW looks for someway to dodge the shitstorm that this mess has created.

It wasn't NSW. It was Queensland.

And frankly, I'd love to know just how that charge was overturned. She was beyond guilty of that, and her sentance was poetic justice with how she'd been pushing for tougher sentences in the NSW parliment.

Dont you mean Queensland, not NSW

And according to the appeals Judge(who rulled it was a miscarriage of justice) it should never have initially gone to court.

No, actually, I did mean NSW there. I'm not exactly sure how she came to be serving in the NSW parliment myself, though since that must mean she lives down there now and not up here, I'm not complaining.

How did the appeals judge come to that conclusion? Honestly now, there's no question that the party was registered fraudulently. The only question is if she was aware herself of what was going on, and I honestly don't see how she could not be.

I want to know how she slipped the hook so cleanly. Did she promise Little John sexual favours again, or did someone just fuck up in the electoral office/QLD prosecutors?
