Well, I finally got to the new poll.

What world would I prefer to live on? Hmm...

Middle Earth: Pretty cool, but since there would be no toilet paper, I have to say no.
Star Trek: My house would explode if I touched the furnace.
So, its a toss-up between B5 and SW. I'll say SW, all the super-high-tech things that B5 lacks will make my life easier and cooler.

I'm surprised so many people are voting for Middle Earth. No running water, no toilet paper, no refridgerators, no electricity, no cars ... and hordes of orcs! Not cool.

I chose middle earth because...it's a simpler time. a peaceful time (after the relatively short , filled with magic and elves and whatnot. It just seems like a nice place if you aren't involved in the war, or live near mordor, which is easy enough. I like the idea that I could be a ranger...I daydream alot about places like middle earth. I never daydream about coruscant....

though, now that I think about it, i probably should.... lots of tech...I got droids to do all my work, hologrphic chicks, spice aplenty...

Of course, there IS the art of smoking pipe-weed in middle earth....

My love of fantasy is strong, but I'd like a world that actually has some usable magic. Ultimately, Coruscant. My working knowledge of it's future means I know where to go to be safe for the next, what, forty years, until the Vong come(At which point I'm relocating to the Imperial Remnant.).

I'd rather live in Faerun than in Middle Earth, tho. Not because the game, but because there seems to be a lot more to do than just be a peasant.

But either way fantasy is not my thing, I'd rather live in a place filled with technological gadgets, impressive computers and robots.

Since I'm a city type I'd rather live in Coruscant, there are places in the galaxy like the Middle Earth.

Did a quick little search online and found out some very interesting tidbits concerning one mister Ryan Griffin. I won't post it here, but it's ridiculously easy to find.

He's listed as User Class "JR UNSM". In other words, he's not a fucking PhD., he's an undergrad, a Junior to be precise. UNSM is a bit trickier, but probably means Undergraduate or Undecided Science Major, or some such.

His email address, his real one, is also easy to obtain. Assuming, of course, that it actually is him and not some "friend" trying to be a jackass.

Is anyone going to E-mail him showing that we know his true info? I would love to see his reaction.

Isn't Coruscant rather overcrowded?? I know we never get to know whether this is true, but it sometimes seems that Coruscant is one huge burned-out city core with no suburbs.

Oh, what's the matter. At least it's not Catachan, Kharak, LV-426, Salusa Secundus, Xhatrr or Kamino.

Coruscant's population density doesn't seem to be very high. Populated, yes: overcrowded, I don't think so.

What we saw in AOTC and TPM led me to believe their crowding isn't any worse than NYC or LA.

I'm not one for urban environments, so Coruscant is out for me. B5... eh. Too much shit going down in the galaxy for my taste. Middle Earth wouldn't really appeal to me as a place to live (at least, not unless I got to bang Eowyn), so that leaves me with the ST Earth. If it's the TNG+ Earth, then I can probably get away with writing holo-novels for a living... sounds like fun to me.

And if they're erotic holo-novels... well, you have to have some quality control, gotta test the program and make sure it works.

(Hello, My good man, I am the pube muppet)Whats wrong with smoking pipe-weed? In the Shire it's an art-form, and I happen to enjoy pipe-smoking, and a good cigar. I still say middle earth, I want to be an elf. Live in the Woodland kingdom. Yes, that would be swell.

The good thing about living on Coruscant, is that its in the Star Wars galaxy. This means if you don't like the place you can always move to another world, if you can get the creds somehow. Having said that, interstellar travel isn't too expensive and so should not be too far beyond your means.

Guess which one I voted for...
