Yes, MiaB is the one with the Prometheus. Also, considering they stole the plans of the Defiant from the original DS9 I think it's highly likely that that Defiant is of the same design as the Defiant in the normal universe.

Yet more proof that scooter cannot come up even with original counterattacks other than acting as some sort of distorted funhouse mirror (First he steals Mike's "conversion to neutrino" idea for phasers and tries to apply it to SW weapons - IE the MCR effect, now he's trying to copy you.)

What about them? Defiant doesn't use it on highly maneuverable craft, or it WOULD have in those scenes in the video. And as "Dragon's Teeth" confirms, a phaser lock is difficult to achieve when the target is highly maneuverable. Like the Falcon.

Well, obviously, they would stand a better chance of actually hitting the falcon. :P

Quiet, you!

The only thing in Trek I've seen as maneuverable as the Falcon has been the Delta Flyer.

I agree, but that is saying a lot actually since the Falcon was able to dogfight with TIE/Is

Gee, I seem to remember Voyager hitting a lot more targets than she missed.
Voyager summed up in 1 quote:

Neelix: These people dont appreciate what they have! This ship is the match of anything in a hundred lightyears, yet what do they do with it?

You're thinking of the battle in the atmosphere against the UNMANEUVERING

I wish I could get a video of that engagement. I have the atmosphere engagement and Voyager managed 60%, which is the lowest ever seen by Fed beam phasers.

I downloaded without any problems, but all I'm getting is the audio when I play it.

Where did you download it from?

If your computer has a DVD player, try using the DVD program that came with it.

Wayne, once again I must compliment you on your video. I find Scooter's attempt to make a "counter claim" laughable, even though I confess I have not yet seen his video.

Wayne, the funniest part of the whole thing is that his video manages to take your premise and idea, and be MUCH, MUCH worse. Not even in terms of the fact that your video was actually responding to the claims of Trekkies, whereas no one has ever claimed near perfect accuracy for SW weapons, but also just because the quality is much lower. It manages to be not only a conceptual piece of shit, but also an INCREDIBLY low-quality series of clips! Can this doofus do nothing right?

I'm not impressed

you can see the flashes in some of the shots where the shots glance off of the shields and in some no one fires anything!

And I find his choice os music to not help his point of veiw

BTW alot of those are like when the Bismark fired on British Swordfish torpedo bombers on because they could dial down their mechanically controlled AA guns to the slow speed of the planes and the Germans never thought anyone would use WWI biplanes in combat anymore.
