Of course. He does everything I do, but badly. Hence, his website.
Not even in terms of the fact that your video was actually responding to the claims of Trekkies, whereas no one has ever claimed near perfect accuracy for SW weapons, but also just because the quality is much lower. It manages to be not only a conceptual piece of shit, but also an INCREDIBLY low-quality series of clips! Can this doofus do nothing right?
He can piss and moan with the best of them! Did you see that idiocy on his website?
It is, for all practical purposes, a mirror of Poe's work, down to the use of a silly and poorly-synched soundtrack.
He tries to cover his obvious inability to produce a quality product by trying to say he "copied" my "poorly edited" video! (BTW, the one that said it was "poorly synched" was of course Spacebattles crybaby E1701)

I'm sure Poe must have done that and his song works for that sort of thing.
That I did. What a fucking moron this douche is!

Scooter's doesn't work for me. The video freezes on one frame after a few seconds and won't show anything else even if I restart the video. This is the second video I've had that does that.

So Star Wars has trouble hitting fighters... It doesn't change the fact that Star Trek missed CAPITAL ships. There is a huge difference in size and manuverability!

Also, he could fit in more examples if he cut the hits and points where no-one was firing! Don't have enough music? Yeah, Right, Whatever...

It's nice to see he can't even do the insult correctly.

Yes, ANH is a perfect example of SW accuracy missing capital class ships after Poe/Mike/Ossus/Connor...and a slew of others claim perfect accuracy from SW. Oh wait they don't? Well shucks darn with a possum on a stick.

And thus we have yet another piece of evidence that this moron is blind and/or a pathological liar (as if that needed to be futher proven). In my limited debating experience I've seen the claim made at least half a dozen times. Is this idiot trying to prove he's a dishonest little twit? He can't even write a few paragraphs on his page without lying through his teeth.

Could the reason that claim doesn't appear any more be that it's been smacked down so many times?

Just finished the anaylsis of his little video and I find it ironic that it ends with the destruction of the Death Star which CLEARLY was a hit. As a look how many times they mniss movie this was terribly done and exicuted. BTW when on screen dialogue establishes that the guns are not designed to hit these "snub fighters" then using those shots is and should be considered bad as the movie itself just consceeded that point to the fighters already.

On the only scene that really fits, The Falcon firing at tie fighters: My analisys is that the misses are all pretty darn close to hits if not even a few near misses there. Those hits are some of them withinf inches of the target. Against a highly manuverable target that is pretty darn good! (he slips in a few hits as well here) It is well established that the guns on the Falcon were not inteanded to be mounted on a freighter and were analogus to the AA turrets on WWII Bombers. Now if you have ever seen any gun cammera shots of those engagements Han and luke(who is a greeny BTW) did extreemly well for this tpe of situation

It might not appear on ASVS anymore, but I have seen it on other message boards.

Robby NEEDS it to be a pro-Trek version of Poe's video (which ends with the destruction of the USS Odyssey) so he and his fans can trot it out whenever someone mentiones Poe's video in a debate. He clearly WANTS everyone to know that he's just copying everything the pro-Wars side does.

This is Scooter we're talking about. In his mind, any canon material, logic, science, etc. that doesn't fit in with his pet "theories" can be ignored.

On my last post, it should end with "other message boards within the last year." Damn, no edit button.

:wtf:

An interesting attempt, anyways. During the Falcon/TIE scene several of the shots that are showcased as "missed" in this video actually hit! It's blindingly obvious during multiple scenes in this chase as well as the ISD/Falcon chases that more of the "missed" shots were actually hitting and glowing on the Falcon's shields!

And of course, the Death Star run had a bunch of pilots who were flying nearly BLIND (ANH Novelization: heavy jamming) and a bunch of turbolaser turrets designed to hit capital warships, not fighters.

Plus the music sucked (what a lame excuse, "didn't have enough music" ).

True, but his video is "just ANH".

Thing is, it's been smacked down BY THAT VIDEO. DarkStar is trying to cover for himself (albeit UNBELIEVABLY poorly), AND he is apparently claiming that because he hasn't personally seen the claim it must not exist (could it be that morons who use that argument are rapidly laughed off the message boards with links to Wayne's video, or because they tend to stay away from DarkStar threads due to the ad nauseum nature of the debates?). Moreover, even if the Trekkie accuracy claim did not exist then his "rebuttal" video would STILL BE WORTHLESS! I have NO idea why he thinks that by putting up such a video it would in any way refute Wayne's work, nor do I have any idea why he cares.

BTW, in making that claim about how the "Trek perfect accuracy claim" doesn't exist, Scooter has made a grievous tactical error since any dumbass debating against him can easily reference examples of such tactics being used.

None other than Bernd Schneider (the insufferable German sore loser who has been sniping at me with behind-the-back character attacks for several years ever since he tried to "correct" my "misconceptions" via E-mail and got trounced) has attempted to put forth the "Trek has perfect targeting" view in the past. It's very common.
