31-7 in Tennessee. ouch.
hey Chardok, that sucks buddy. Looks like the Pats own the east this year.
on a side note: Doug Flutie does it again! 4 fucking touchdowns! What is this, carreer comback number 5? or is is 6? The guy is 41 and the old bastard embarrassed the Vikings defense. Go Doug Go!

Have you heard Dan Marino lately? The hostility he is spouting at Wansdadt is hillarious! Not only that but he is publicly speculating thet he could do a better job. Coach Marino, well i guess he's gotta get a superbowl ring somehow.Chardok wrote:Dave wannstadt isn't TAUNTING me!!!

I'm all for that idea. Anything that makes the AFC a little easier for my Chiefs is always a good idea. Though its not like the Chiefs need it to be easier but.....Chardok wrote:Best. Idea. Ever.

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

KC has much to fear in the post season. They must face Tennessee and/or New England before they can even think superbowl. The fact that their division sucks balls this year helps KC out quite a bit. Lucky. Speaking of luck, Daunte Hall is bound to run out of it soon enough.Knife wrote:I'm all for that idea. Anything that makes the AFC a little easier for my Chiefs is always a good idea. Well, the sport that culminates in the superbowl anyway.Rubberanvil wrote:You all talking about the superbowl, right?
Football, or as the rest of the world insists, American rule football.
The NFL is split in to two confrences, AFC (American football confrence) and NFC (National football confrence). Each Conference is split into three zones or divisions, East, Central, West.
Chardok is bitching in part, that his team is on the bottom of the list in his division and pretty much the bottom of the Conference. To get to the superbowl, they would need to be at the top of the their division (in this case AFC east. Anyway, after winning enough to be atop their division, they go to the playoffs and the winner of the playoffs win's the AFC or NFC championship. The winners of the NFC and AFC then play each other in the superbowl.
Ooops, my bad, the Dolphins jumped above Buffalo after the Bills got smacked.

Thats pretty ballsy since the hardest teams NE has played is Seattle (which spanked them) and Inianapolis (which really spanked them). Funny how the only tough teams you've played are the ones that beat you.Col. Crackpot wrote:

AFC west has been a tough division for years, just cause this year the Raiders and the Donkeys seem to be fucked up, well...*shrug*
Besides, every game it seems that the punters and kickers do whatever they can to keep it away from Hall. That in itself is an advantage for the Chiefs.

The Texans, I didn't know they had fans. I was at Paul Brown Stadium sunday and watched them lose to the Bengals. So all I'm going to say about it is this. Rudi Johnson is the fucking man, 43 carries. Damn.BrYaN19kc wrote:HEHEHE The Dolphins death spiral started when The TEXANS (YAY!) beat them!
Oh yeah, Chad Johnson is first in the AFC in receiving yards and fifth in recpetions.

you know not of what you speak. The Pats haven't even played Seattle or Indy this year. The last time the Pats played Indy was 2001 when they won 44-7 in the RCA dome IN Indianapolis. I can't even remember the last time the Pats played Seattle. New Englands two losses came as a blowout in Buffalo in week 1 and a squeaker (which was damn close to a win) against Washington in week 4. The AFC East has historiclly been the most competative division in the conference over the last decade with 3 teams fininshing within a game of each other. Furthermore, regarding your previous post there are 4 divisions in each conference. it has been that way for like 5 years now!

No! I will never admit it! The season is not over until it is over! If my dolphins can do what no team before or since has done, (Undefeated and win superbowl) then they can do it again (Enter as wild card and win the 'bowl). Even if they don't, I still revel in mediocrity! It is a metaphor for my life, and I flourish!

Sorry, I was glancing at the NO on the scheduale instead of NE. Damn I feel stupid. Anyway, my appologies. And yeah, I saw my mistake on the divisions when I posted but figured it was close enough for thoughs who don't know about football and decided not to edit it. Again, yesterday seemed to be the day my brain shut down.Col. Crackpot wrote:

Now that I have engaged my brain, and looked at the right stats and scores, I still don't see how you can think KC had such an easy season as compared to NE.
My god, besides Tennesse and Denver, who the hell have you played that was tough? Phili can be, but....
The rest of your season looks hard though, Dallas and Indianopolis (Good luck). But after that you can coast into the playoffs with Miami, Jax, NYJ, and the Bills.
To tell you the truth though, as a KC fan, I'm more worried about Indianapolois and Tennesse in the AFC south as a contender against KC for the AFC championship.

I have a friend who's a rabid Bengals fan. If they manage to beat the Chiefs, then I'll jump on his one-man bandwagon.

I just checked. I've been alive for all of their Superbowl trips, including both wins.Chardok wrote:I hate you.
I was also alive the last time the Chiefs and Colts won so don't take it too personally.
Looking at the list The Jets is the only team that won a Superbowl before I was born and haven't done it since.
