Hi!Hi!
There is a HUGE sci-fi con in San Diego called the "comic con".
It features everything form sci-fi to fantasy to anime to comics.
I have seen many sci-fi stars at the con:
Mark hammil(he goes every year)
Jerry doyl(garebaldi form b5)
Nigel Rodenberry(Loxana troy, nurse chapel)
Guy who played r2d2 and his wife
Samantha carter and General Hammond form sg-1
The incredible hulk(he is always there)
Cast of farscape (Scropy, the plant chick, the hot blue chick, the guy who wants chriton dead, rigel's voice actor)
the guy who wrote the Martian chronicles.. my mom talked to him for a long time and had no idea who she was talking to. rofl.

anyways. I was thinking of holding a meeting there. we can go get some good food, walk, talk, make fun of trolls. I know it’s a little early but some of us live far away and would need a year to plan ahead. Get visas get plane tickets, reserve hotel rooms etc. and as we know the sooner we do it the cheaper it is. Also this topic is for people who ant to room together to save money.
the event is 4 days and mostly 24 hours. there are screening rooms and other evens which show movies etc all day. the convention hall is where the dealer’s room is only open during the day and evenings.

the even is July 22-25 with 21 being preview night for pros and people who reregistered..

Once we establish who is going and who will be rooming with who we can set up a meeting place and swap cell phones.

I will be attending as always and will most likely be at the Avalon booth for a day or so and wanderings around so if you do manage to show up and this does fall through see me there. it is usually next to image central in t he image booths.

While I wont be dressing up in full regalia I will wear my Darth Vader shirt that has a picture of the Dark Lord of the Sith with the caption "Who's Your Daddy?".
