"Yes emperor, the black alliance has sent ships into the sector, and our intelligence agents are reporting that the Azgarte are securing their section of the former Aquarian Union"

The emperor walked into the senate hall and sat down.

"honorable senators of the empire, we have a crisis to deal with. The black alliance has deployed military vessels to former AU space, bringing them into conflict with the Three Suns Commonwealth, and the boot heels of the Azgarte are coming down on all who oppose them. it is becoming increasingly clear that our own military is going to be sverly outgunned if we are attacked"

Senator Hazart spoke.
"And what would you have us do? Increase the fleet's size again? If we build up our fleet, the Azgarte will invade us."

The emperor spoke again
"The Azgarte would not have invaded the Aquarian Union if their defenses had been strong enough to destroy their fleet."

"What about our new defense network?"

"That will be finished soon, but i fear that war may only be around the corner"

"We cannot build up any more, the ships we have should be enough"

The emperor stood up
"I call this matter to a vote."

We apologize for the delay but we have needed time to get organized after our world were occupied. We thank the TSC and understand why they attacked our worlds. They did so to establish a base from with to attack the Azgerte. And we would treat them as friends.

Other than that... We have plans in store for our enemies that we could not carry out through conventional warfare...

"Markos, the situation is going from bad to worse. Raiders prey the spacelanes and what few convoys have been organized by the occupying powers have been totally unable to keep up with demand. Our own convoy schedule has been reduced as the convoys must now concentrate in order to provide enough protection to the ships en-route. We're getting some reports that ex-Aquarian military ships are beginning to attack food freighters bound elsewhere in and attempt to help feed their population. The new Aquarian Resistance apparently is attacking freighters belonging to the occupying powers as well, but as of yet are avoiding food shipments. Thanks, Markos. In international news closer to home, eleventh-hour negotiations with the United Terran Republic and the new 'Free Star Alliance' appear to be making progress. Sources indicated that the Kingdom may reconsider her stance on the FSA and consider it a "self-governing territory" of the Republic. Foreign policy will apparently remain under the assumption that the FSA is a subset of the UTR, but that the Kingdom will respect local authority within the Alliance.

PRESS RELEASE

Last night, in response to an upsurge of Necris Phayder terrorist activity within the Corporate Sector, the Corporate Sector Defense Force made a surprise move against the Necris homeworld of Necroth. The world, which had fallen under control of the Atlanteans during the Great War, has been a constant thorn in the Corporate Sector's side, as well as that of the United Terran Republic before it.

The raid was a resounding success, with several thousand tons of illicit goods captured in orbit of Necroth and a number of Black Alliance pirate vessels detained. In addition, approximately five Necris assassins were captured aboard their ship as they were en route to the Corporate Sector.

Two CSDF destroyers and three frigates were heavily damaged in the operation, although they have since been towed back to the nearby VSE Fleet Yards. In the meantime, the CSDF will be maintaining a presence at Necroth and in the surrounding region to prevent further uprisings.

TO THE FLEET,
As you no doubt have heard already, with the advice of the Senate I have decided against increasing the fleet rolls from their current status. While many of you are likely to be dissapointed in this news, the need of the civilians we serve come first. While other nations proceed to spend precious capital on military buildup, the Kingdom instead shall grow her economy, allowing for a greater military buildup to be undertaken should one be needed at a later time. 

However, as the other new powers are becoming bolder and more agressive since the sudden capitulation of the Aquarian Union, the Royal Navy shall be on a mission to drastically increase our training operational tempo. We will match the quantitative edge of the other nations with a qualitative edge from our superior training, experience and morale. 

The schedules and goals for training and the Fleet Problem excercises are attached to this document for all to see. The Navy and the Kingdom expects big things from all of us. Lets not dissapoint.

The emperor's bill was passed, and the shipyards increased production by 50%. the KSN was preparing to defend it's borders against any agression.

The emperor spoke to admiral Rienhasshu, supreme commander of the KSN.

"Are the fleets here yet?"

"The first and third fleet have just arrived."

"Good, send them to the border at once, and send out the press relase"

Due to increased piracy, the first and third KSN fleets have been deployed to defend Krytosian assets in the former AU all krytosian cargo vessels will be under naval escort at all times while in transit between nations.

our fleets are deployed to defend our assets in international space only, they will not enter your space but they will defend our trading and cargo vessels at any cost. they have already launched from Krytos, and should reach the border soon, they will operate from there and defend our ships and borders from Rampant piracy, which the Azegarte and the TSC seem unable to control.

Perhaps you missed the part of our message where we said we would not enter any other nation's territory? Our ships will respect your soverignty and will not enter, but any attack on one of our ships will be treated as an act of war.

The Nyfitsar fleet will, of course, be visited. As none of our heavy vessels can be pulled away from their vital humanitarian missions, the module He's Got A Knife! will be deployed at the closest point on our prescheduled flight plans. The module is unarmed living quarters capable of a few megalights, please act accordingly.

The United Terran Republic has made another key move in it's new policy of building in devestated former UTR space. Today fifteen worlds signed the Charter of Federation on the world of Hopewell. This Federation has been brought about by the diplomatic efforts of the UTR State Department and the work of the UTRN and UTRDG in clearing this area of pirate activity.

The newly born Independent Worlds Federation is locating it's capital in the Hopewell system, which is the nearest inhabitated star system to the Bajoran wormhole exit. The UTR State Department states that it expects the Republic and Federation to enjoy a brotherly relationship similar to that between the FSA and UTR.

In return for an aid package similar to that given to the FSA the IWF will be permitting the UTRN to operate two fleet bases in IWF territory. In related financial news the UTR Department of Finace has announced today that the UTR economy is enjoying it greatest upswing in three centuries.

The Secretary of Finance today announced that even with the aid packages being given to the FSA and IWF and the expenses of military actions in what is now the FSA and IWF as well as the expense of the new fleet expansion and lost income from the mess in aquarian space, that the UTR governemnt still expects a net increase in income this year from the new economic opportunities in the FSA and IWF.

We have also been receiving as yet unconfirmed reports of a military buildup in the First District near the romulan zone. We have also recieved unconfirmed reports that elements of Home Fleet have been deployed beyond the FSA for wargames with the new Fifth Fleet. More on these developments as we learn more.

A XT-768 transporter ship jumped into the atmosphere of the Azgerte home system, and sent a tight beamed transporter beam into the low rent districts... the slums to be more exact.

Azgerte sensor operators didnt even notice the new contact on his screen, and the men who operate the energy sensors were chering as the news broadcasts of the occupation came in. This would come back to bite them... literally.

Soon, the eggs hatched, and the facehuggars knew exactly what was expected of them, the resistance had made sure of that. The found hosts, implanted, and when the new queens hatched, they knew what was expected of them...

It was time to start a new hive...

tens of thousands had not gone to their jobs on the Azgert homeworld. The Xenormorph queens had done their jobs well, and they spread quickly throughout Valeth. Soon the planet would be overrun by an army of xenomorphs.

They found the less than afluent areas of the cities to be breeding grounds for animals, humans, anthing that could be eaten or used as a host, and the numbers of xenos grew by the hour.

"Yes sir, heading for the aquarian zone now."

Four unassuming civillain transport vessels, each loaded with highly trained Krytosian Marines launched twards the TSC occupied Zone.

"No sir. They are all Divine Imperials... they fit the genetic profile"

"Excellent. When I give the command, jump into normal space and dont even give that bulk freighter a chance to send a distress signal... send them straight to hell..."

The AU Nautilus Class vessel jumped into normal space and fired a full broadside into the shields of an Azgert bulk freighter, carrying weapons to the newly conquered AU systems. The shields dropped after the first shot, and it was quickly vaporized...

This happened throughout known space. Seemingly every unescorted Azgert cargo ship heading in or out of AU sstems was hit by everything from fighter groups to Nautilus Class vessels. Few even having the chance to send a distress call... simply destroyed... vaporized or left as dead space hulks. They simply... Disappeared

The the Aquarians knew these space lanes like the backs of their fins, and they would be damned if the Azgert didnt pay for their crimes in blood.
