sorry about the caps but this is important

i need to know how to shut down a geocities website, its not mine, however somebody is using it to spread slander about me via a chainmail.

I don't know who started it so i can't do anything else... i just need this website gone, once the site is gone, the problem should be solved, atleast temporarily, until i can track down whoever it is and fucking break their knee caps.

sorry if i sound desperate... but i am.

Well, first off, double check if that's the right address. Then after that just report to them that there's a website out there that is detrimental to your reputation and emotional well-being by posting lies about you and encouraging people to harass you. Request that it be taken down. They'll eat that crap up with a spoon.

There is a website using your free hosting service which appears to be slandering and defaming me, and generally detrimental to my reputation.

I would like this site to be removed, and if possible, know who it is who published this material.

The user is using his/her account to spread the page linked to via chain mail. This is a sensitive issue for myself and is detrimental to my reputation and emotional well-being and that of the other person in the photo. The image is also stolen property from my own website. I do not know the exact content of the chain mail, but i consider it to be libelous. The image that has been published is an illegal copy and therefore i request that it be taken down and if possible i request to know who published this material so that it can be dealt with personally, as just removing it from the net will not prevent this from happening again and I cannot stress any more how sensitive this issue is. If this can be dealt with in an expedient manner it will greatly appreciated.

I explained everything to the girl today, she is alright with it, she believed my story, and anything anyone tells her from now on should be ignored. The beauty of honesty *sigh*

Problem is... there is a slight possibility that the person who leaked it just happens to visit this board.... this is one of two public places where i showed the pic... the other place i made a huge deal of getting it removed cos i couldn't edit my posts, here i did it kinda silently. the picture also hasn't been on my server for about 6 weeks, which means it was taken atleast that long ago, why it took so long to surface boggles the mind.

the other place has far too few members and the chances are far too slim... however here, who knows O.o

a friend is finding out for me from the person i suspect did it, or rather, am 99.999999% certain, cos i would actually end up hurting the person if i did it myself.

Sorry ad, i don't have any copies of the photo anymore, so i can't show you, even in a PM.

However, if you want to take a look at the "what do you look like thread" and have a look at some of my posts, look for where innerbrat starts asking for phone numbers

should give you an idea.
