Ten Commandments judge charged.
CNN linky:
Eat this, fundy scum!
Sorry if this has been posted before, but I don't see it on the first page of N&P, and that's where I figure it belongs.
In a pretrial brief, Pryor said Moore should be removed because he "intentionally and publicly engaged in misconduct, and because he remains unrepentant for his behavior," the AP reported.
Seems Judge Moore may soon be out of a job. Bwa ha ha ha ha.

If Religion and Politics were characters on a soap opera, Religion would be the one that goes insane with jealousy over Politics' intimate relationship with Reality, and secretly murder Politics in the night, skin the corpse, and run around its apartment wearing the skin like a cape shouting "My votes now! All votes for me! Wheeee!" -- Lagmonster

I'm glad to see he's being charged for all the trouble he caused and for the fact he was perfectly willing to break the laws for "God's laws" even though it's his job to uphold our laws and let God worry about his. That's certainly not the kind of conduct that should be expected of a cheif justice. In an ideal job he should be disbarred for that stunt.
I doubt he'll lose his job as a judge though, censured and fined is more likely, maybe in the extreme he'll lose his spot as Cheif Justice.

This is indeed great news. I guess if nothing was done fundie officials everywhere would follow this example.
"Oh no, oh yeah, tell me how can it be so fair
That we dying younger hiding from the police man over there
Just for breathing in the air they wanna leave me in the chair
Electric shocking body rocking beat streeting me to death"
- A.B. Original, Report to the Mist
"I think it’s the duty of the comedian to find out where the line is drawn and cross it deliberately."

I quite frankly think that this is a show, and the cards have already been laid out for his return to public office either way the decision goes. This man should have been impeached from the get go, but this is afterall Alabama we're talking about here.
The most basic assumption about the world is that it does not contradict itself.

His getting kicked out of the judicery would probably help his prospects for some other office like governor or senator. This is Alabama we're talking about there.GrandAdmiralPrawn wrote:Wrong! His ass is out the door! Whee hee hee! lol

Now lets just hope the democrats succeed in ther fillibuster, and prevent Pryor and Estrada from getting office.
I am not sure about the others they are blocking, but judging from these to.. I would bet money they are cut from the same cloth.
