Oh, you've uplifted them and I'm sure you're grateful for it. But any such experiment has to be fraught with some measure of unreliability. To assume you've gone from "original laboratory tests" to "fieldable biological weapon" so soon is somewhat incredulous. With the addition of your invasion problem, I had assumed that the process was imperfect.

They arent minions... we dont own them... They are a completely sentient race... Each with its own personality. There are a few unreliable individuals... But the arent a bioweapon... But citizens.

We have been uplifitspecies since he had the tech to do so, many many centuries ago... one of our three major races is an uplift.

We wouldnt even need that many of them.

But that is beside the point.

She would be attacking military targets only... She had used civies for food, but they were not the main focus of the grand plan.

"It all depends on how rapidly they spread, of course," the executive replied, "but from gathered data, the risk is rather high. I would advise that the CSDF be placed in full readiness, and that all customs patrols step up the number of inspections being performed. Additionally, we should be refusing any freighters or refugees from Aquarian or Azegart space."

Wayne promptly reached for the hardline. "Anything else?" he asked before he picked it up.

"Negative."

Elsewhere in the Corporate Sector, a lone Marauder-class corvette was docked in the Quaynar Fleet Yards at Deneb. The owner of the corvette was currently in the area that numerous "Surplus Sale" banners pointed to.

"Would you be interested in this warship, perhaps?" a salesman asked Ragle, who was dressed, rather unusually, in business attire. "It's one of the last of the the Sirius-class production run."

Johan shook his head. "I already have a ship. I told you I'm only interested in starfighters."

"Perhaps this, then?" The salesman pointed to a starfighter with somewhat faded paint, no doubt from years of solar radiation. "Koensayr Y-wing II Block 3D. Faster than the original, more heavily armed. This one's never been used in combat."

Again, the bounty hunter shook his head. "Too old."

The salesman pulled out a datapad and flipped through the available models. "You indicated that you previously used a Quaynar H-wing II Block 1C. May I suggest, then, the Quaynar Firestar? It has a similar control layout to the old H-wing II."

"What are its capabilities?"

"Follow me." The salesman walked to another large hangar in the dock facility. "This is the Firestar. 20 meters long, two heavy blasters, one axial reflex cannon, two proton torpedo launchers, with six torpedoes apeice. A dozen weapon hardpoints. It uses a high-output fusion generator. Range is moderate, FTL is hyperspace as with most others."

"Price?"

"Two hundred seventy thousand."

Johan found himself wondering about the axial reflex cannon; such a weapon wasn't exactly suited to bounty hunting--you typically wanted to disable the target, not destroy it. "Can the reflex cannon be replaced with another weapon later on?"

"Certainly," the salesman replied. "It's a modular design, although the weapon was built by Honeywell. Any Quaynar module should fit."

"I'll take it."

The Fleet President sent the relevant orders to activate the pre-planned battle plans, and the New Armaria and Fast Response Fleet, along with two Gate ships, vanished from their parking orbits around an obscure unmapped star in the galaxy's core to translate to the meeting point with the other fleets. They were to arrive, well, now.

OOC:It is just like dropping troops... An infection along the lines I have would take only a couple days in a heavily populated area... You saw earlier in this STGOD... a station was completely overrun by them, literally bursting at the seems in a few hours...

His government literally wouldnt have had the response time until the infestation was nice and large...

Lately, I have only been going through the queens thought processes anyway, the size was stable by the third xeno post.

Semantics. Sentient or not, they are de facto biological weapons simply due to the way you used them. And thanks to the TSC's foolishness in announcing to the whole Galaxy who exactly who was behind this mess, you may find the Union in a world of pain even if it does get liberated.

Furthermore, nobody else knows that those are "sentient" Xenomorphs on planet. The only reports coming offworld are that the damn fool place is full of 'morphs and we all know how normal ones spread. Oh, and you also comitted genocide on that world with your newfound "allies." Not even the Azgert were going to do that to you.

CNO Calcite read the attached information and data. The Three Suns Commonlweath had opted to transmit their warning generally in the clear. That told two things:

1. They knew the Aquarians had something up their sleeves. Original RIDC estimates had the insertion of a stowaway Xeno - all others were working under that assumption.
2. The Aquarians were directly responsible for this biological warfare strike.

Ambassador Carcarocles looked through the reports of a "biologial weapons strike" and didnt understand...

"why are they considered bioweapons?" he asked to himself... After all, theyy were a sentient race now and didnt deserve such bad press. They had, so far, caused no more casualties than any self-respecting guerilla force would have.

The ambassador thought about it for a moment, then realized that no one outside the alliance knew they were sentient, and legitimate as a people. He decided that he would have to start by educating the fearful and ignorant public of the universe proper... Already, images of a xenomorph drone playing peacefully in the back yard with human children in a 1950's style infomercial from earth, danced through his head.

"This is Normad to Curious Cat, our scan shows no sign of infestation. Have you observed any such signs and do you grant permission for us to board and inspect you?"

Greetings my Lord. I send this message to clear up any misconceptions that may have developed from our seeding of The Azgert Homeworld.

First, the xenomorphs are sentient and enlisted in the resistance. They are our allies and are well aware of who is on who's side.

Second, despite the reports this was not a "biological attack" had we thought it would be considered biological warfare... well, we still would have done it. But we will be attempting to minimize the political backlash.

Third, the Azgert ARE a blight on the galaxy, and they deserve everythng they recieve. We will not commit genocide per se, and the xenos have orders to kill only as many civilians as they need to to buld their numbers...

We hope this clears things up for you and your people. expect to see Xenomorph Tolerance after school specials after we win this war... the production teams are working on them now.

ooc: Xenomorphs reproduce by ramming the ovipositor down the victim's throat and forcibly implanting eggs into the thoracic cavity--usually throwing the victim into a coma. The embryonic xenomorph then grows rapidly in the chest of the host, feeding off of his blood. Finally, it bursts from his chest in a spray of blood and endtrails and bone fragments (this process is excruciatingly painful by all accounts). The adult xenomorph eats sentient creatures and exists solely to facillitate the infection of further host organisms.

This life cycle has a tendency to color perceptions of them.
