There is a difference between the Al-Queda claim about being Islamic organization and violating an American soldier.
The difference is rape is forbidden in Islam just like extramartial sex. Offenders face death penalty if caught according to Shariah law. So if Saddams soldiers were true muslims they would never do such a thing.

That is a good possibility. The Pakistani army did have a fair number of rapists as the 1971 war showed. Given the fact that Iraq is secular and the brutal nature of the regime you could be right.

I was under the impression that Saddam's regime actually had at least one professional rapist on staff. Basically the job was a subset of something like professional torturer.

I´ve seen that accusation disproven. Apparantly it was based of a document which actualy was about the conviction of said person of rape. This was mistranslated as being his job description.

In one of speeches where he was describing how evil Saddam was he mentioned rape chambers along other instruments of terror. Not sure whether Bush was just bluffing or he was serious.
