Anyone watch Al-Jazeera

Does anyone watch Al-Jazeera ? I do sometimes. They are not very reliable but neither is CNN.

Occasionally, though I can't understand any of it. There is sometimes a certain amount of comedic value in watching.

The sports broadcasts are fairly easy to understand, anyway.

yes, whenever im out of this country, trains my arabic, bad as it is

Its a good counterpoint to Fox and CNN, provides some good local coverage and doesn't abide by the "don't say anything bad about the US forces" rules, which often makes it interesting.

Generally though, I find BBC and Deutche Welle much better services.

We get it on one the local access channels here. The bias is bad enough to make Fox News actually look fair and balanced and the reporting is very, very questionable.

The sad thing is many view Al-Jazeera as the most fair and balanced network ever. Originaly Al-Jazeera could only be watched in the middle east but now many muslim countries have it. And in every home that I have with access to Al-Jazeera people no longer trust CNN or BBC.

That could be evidence of something else, though.
