No, thisis the coolest $5000 gadget ever. It puts every segway that exists in shame, both in speed, agility and out of this world coolness.
Certainly beats out that godawful thing called the Segway....course having a trained gerbil that'd cost $5000 would be cooler.

Bah. Certainly the Segway has no real marketable purpose, but it is damn cool to ride.

Yeah, but it's TITANIUM. Besides, for the low price of $8000 I can get a full suspension Titanium bike, like this one. Titanium good! :D

p.s. Do you get this strange feeling that I like titanium bikes?

Say, do you want it to be a threesome with your wife? Or a foursome with your wife and sister-in-law? I'm up for either. :P

ooohhh.. shiny.. A 3600$ frame, eh? Very nice, though I suspect the rear damper is not as good as mine.

They're shiny, slick and unbelievably strong. The only thing to dislike is the obnoxious price..

Maybe I should get my mum to pass me a medical certificate saying that I need the bike for my mental well being, and get it discounted in the IRS.

You know, at least the Sinclair C5 could be pedalled if the battery died and it also allowed you to lie down and not have to suffer leg pains half the time. Sure, you may look a nonce still and your head barely comes to the top of a 38-ton lorrie's wheels, but it's better than a Segway.

Weren't there people who said that the Segway would be the greatest invention since the computer at one point?

There were outlandish claims, but I don't think anyone ever said something to that degree....

Nope, they can't handle a decent curb let alone stairs. And even better, the lightweight version is about 65 pounds and the heavy-duty version nearly 100, that ought to make going up stairs real fun.
I think that although you can't ride it up stairs the motors assit you so it isn't hard to pull it up.
